"I was most impressed with their punctuality. They showed up the very next day, after answering the phone when I called and giving me an immediate response. They did a good job of not only cleaning the snow and ice off, but clearing it from the driveway/porch as well. I didn't get all the snow cleared off--the ice was the primary concern because I was having water issues with the ice dam--but the problem cleared up once they were done. I think the price was fair. I didn't have the luxury of time to shop around, but in talking to people who had similar work with other companies, it seemed a little on the high side. "I am a single woman and have owned my home for 8 years.  I had purchased it from a friend who was a DIY.  I had looked at my roof after having ice dams this past winter and knew I had to have someone look at it. I had gotten a quote from another contractor that was much higher.  I had also had one show up without a ladder, 45 minutes late making it  too late for evaluating the roof.  
Frustrated, I bought a membership and  found Roger/Thermalfit on Angie's List, saw he had a great rating and his reviews were very recent.  I called him on a Sunday.  Roger called me back about two hours later and came to my home within an hour.  Roger came with all the necessary tools, ladders, flashlights.  
He performed a thorough inspection of my roof, gutters and inside my attic.  He fully explained that my roof had been incorrectly installed and the venting was done improperly.  The bathroom vent fan was not venting out the roof and had been blowing at the front eave causing more black mold to grow in that area. I had black mold and dry rotted plywood decking and too many nails had been used to install it.  There was leaking and mold where the chimney met the side of the house due to improper flashing on the roof. The entire roof (which was only 9 or 10 years old) had to come off down to the rafters, the insulation had to be pulled from the eaves as it was stuffed in and preventing the flow of air from the soffits.  The vent holes were not drilled into the planks inside of the soffits and he explained to me how he would have to drill them as well. There were also end vents in the gable ends of the attic that did not allow the air to circulate through the attic. The air was just coming in through the end vents and leaving through the ridge vents.
I also could see daylight around my front door and the vinyl trim outside was not ideal.  He looked at it and quoted me on replacing it and installing the door with new trim to "neaten" it up.
Roger gave me a quote that included top of the line products, he had the samples with him to show me what I was getting.  He had the literature about the lifetime guarantee and the transfer-ability to a potential new owner if I decided to sell in the future. He came when he said he would, the job was performed exactly like he said, he kept me informed throughout the job.
The roof looks fantastic, the vent for the bathroom is terrific, the flashing along the two chimneys I have is great, the front door and new trim looks so much better.  
Roger did the door himself and worked on it for over 6 hours because the original framework, the way the siding was installed and the way they original door was hung were all off measure. He even insisted on installing a dead-bolt to keep me safe. His brother came with him to install the door and then took 7 hours with a heavy drill over his head to drill the holes in the soffits while Roger tackled the very difficult door.
Best roofing company, Best door company ever!  If I ever need new windows, HANDS DOWN I will be calling Roger!!
