"Fantastic. The majority of work was done in 3 days. Unbelievable!!! The plumbing under the house was a really tight squeeze and it was done to perfection. He had to come back twice for the dishwasher because the door wouldn't close. It turned out to be a manufacturer's defect and had nothing to do with him. Great customer service.
When I bought the house, a plumbing nightmare was discovered. Mismatched pipes under the house  with a heat lamp (surprise!) Of course there was no indication of possible plumbing problems from the prior owner. If we hadn't inspected under the house, we would have had a nightmare in the winter. The shower plumbing sprayed water out the backside into a closet. The washer hook up did not have appropriate venting and the dryer vent went into the floor and under the house through nothing but a tinfoil dryer vent. The barn pipes leaked and one had burst during the period of time the house was empty.
I had 3 bids on this job. One was $10,000 with caveats about possible extra charges. One was $6500 with caveats about extra charges. JM Plumbing said both those bids were too high and he would be more than happy to do it for $6200.
Great job, great work, great customer service. I have recommended him to the Culligan Man as a top-notch example of what to expect from a plumber.

"A true Olympic athlete who provides great service to his customers. The man and his crew, which sometimes includes his wife and a friend of 20+ years is highly reliable and highly recommended. And no. He did not pay me to say these things. No matter how challenging, he got things done. For example, our sewer line started almost 5 feet down and went about 50 feet to the street behind our house. From street level, the line from our house was about 35 feet down. Sewers rely on gravity to function properly. Our old cement pipe (about 70 years old) had collapsed from cracks related to age, settling and roots that entered the cracks. The clean up and repair work were absolutely spot on. If you need good, quality work done. Costs are always a concern. No one likes to shell out money if they can avoid it. But in my opinion, his pricing is competitive and fair. Call this guy! You won't regret it. He's a man of his word, a rare thing in these days and times."

"When giving me a quote, I told Ron that I had rec'd a quote for $35,000 just to remove the walls. I believe that person just didn't want the job for wahtever reason -- but Ron came along and when I said "I had a dream for my kitchen that included removing the walls, etc.," and he said he could make my dream come true. Where once there was no space, we have made a comfortable way to seat 14 people. Where we once had a kid's table, we have an adults bar area.... except, lo and behold, the kids all way to sit at the bar. In addition to the bare bones description, Ron, Amy, and Candy were amazing to work w/. To be able to do the job for that much less, Ron figured out ways I could do some of the work myself and make it happen. His advice for how to change my kitchen around were all spot on, from the suggested new sink stopper -- the fact that, w/ only a small bit of cupboard space for pots and pans near my stove (the others being stored in the island), I had to decide which pans were my "favorites." Following his advice, I was able to make it all work. What used to be a 4 foot square space between stove and the arch to the dining room area is now wide open. Before the change, family used to come in, skip through the kitchen to the family/TV room - or if anyone was to keep my company while I cooked, they'd need to sit on the counters - taking away necessary prep space. From the first day of completion, forward, my family of 13 have asked to have all celebrations at my home. The flow, the warmth, the whole ambiance of my home has hanged. Gleefully, if too much time passes, family sometimes forgets I've had it remodeled and are surprised anew when they walk in. What's most amazing is that talking to one another in that family room was often interrupted by TV shows, etc. Now, most people walk in and seat themselves at the island. Family is more engaged, dining is much easier -- I can set up a buffet line on one half of the island and still allow the five to eat from the other side. I would heartily recommend Kitchen Design Center to anyone w/ a dream of a kitchen that they think just can't be done.
