"One panel was installed incorrectly at ridge vent. When it rained, it leaked and caused damage to my family room ceiling- a definite mark against All Weather Seal, BUT, I must say that I have never seen a company stand behind its work like they did. They immediately sent in a crew that tore out the damaged area, re-drywalled it, then repainted the entire Family/dining Room area, and of course fixed the faulty roof panel.

The guys that came out to do the work initially were a little rag-tag in appearance.  However, they worked hard and were really personable.  They seemed anxious to please and were attentive to what I was asking them to do.  They explained what they did to clean the gutters, what they cleaned out, and how they repaired the gutter helmets that were incorrectly re-installed by our roofer.  Just based on that alone I would have given them an A.  On the downside, a few days later the repair of one of the gutter helmets blew off.  Since they said they had secured it, it was disappointing.  A few days later another helmet blew off.  I contacted the owner, who got right back with me and left a voice mail.  He indicated that the guys would be back out within the next few days.  However, they didn't come back.  A few more back and forth calls and the owner himself came out to do the repair.  We were surprised to pull in our driveway and find him on the roof!  He said he fixed the helmets and that they would never come loose again, and they haven't!  It could have just been an oversight but I'm reluctant to recommend a company that doesn't get the fix done right the first time. 

Other than that, the price was great and everything worked out in the end.

"Nyboer Builders was highly professional. They arrived everyday when they said they would. The outside was cleaned up so my dog could run around worry free. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
