"The plumber called before the expected time window was up letting me know he would arrive a little bit late because of his current location. I had both garden hose spigot valves replaced, and then when the final check showed that the pressure regulator was not regulating, had that replaced as well. Well done, no leaks, thorough clean-up, and complete replacement of the insulation on the exposed main water line where it comes up into the house. Would recommend."

"My swimming pool has had a water leak that caused my household to use almost 4 times as much water as usual, for each of the past several months. I had narrowed it down to the water being supplied to the pool causing the excessive water usage, and called American Leak Detection to find the cause. I researched several agencies through the Internet, and decided that the higher price quoted ($465 after the 5% Angie's List coupon, for the pool with built-in spa) was worth the peace of mind of knowing I'd picked arguably the best company around for the job. I had quotes as low as $200, but when they found out a spa could be involved, they said it might run $400, and some said that if the leak turned out to be difficult to locate, they would have to go to a specialist (like American Leak Detection) at that additional cost to me, to pinpoint the leak. Since there is a lot of plumbing that runs under cement topped by Cool Deck, pinpointing the leak could be paramount. So, by paying more, I would have the most expert agency find the leak. I was even happier when told that they also could do repairs, so I wasn't going to have to go to another company who hadn't diagnosed the problem for resolution of the issue.
Rod came out to do the service, and was there right on time as scheduled. He has dozens of years of experience, including years working with swimming pools, and I felt totally confident in his work. He was very professional, explaining everything I asked about, and very personable. My pool was unusual in that it has two sets of pool returns, one set never used in the 9 years since it was built. Rod figured out how the plumbing was run, that the leak was in this unused return line, and plugged the return drains near the bottom of the pool. While he might have pressured me to repair/replace the bad return line, he took the more pragmatic approach to plug the lines and shut the valve that fed this line from the pump. I really appreciated this, since it will have absolutely no negative effect on my pool or how it is filtered, and prevents a huge waste of money that I simply wouldn't have wanted to invest. He allowed me time to test each step in deciding what was necessary (using the bucket test procedure), giving me several days I wanted to make sure the cause(s) were completely pinpointed and were resolved.
Since he found the leak had nothing to do with the spa, and he didn't have to even test the spa lines, my bill was greatly reduced... only $365 was charged with the added repair work included (a diver making another trip to plug the lines). I'm confident that this is no higher and probably much lower than any other agency would have charged.
If I ever have another water leak that needs this service, I won't even pause before calling Bonnie and asking for an appointment with American Leak Detection!"

"Hunter Buckman from Mountain Fresh Water Systems came out to my home to test my water and to discuss the various options in water softening and whole house filtration available. I asked a million questions and he was able to answer them all to my satisfaction. After doing a chemical analysis to determine the water's hardness, and asking lots of questions about the size of the home and about our typical water usage he recommended the appropriate water softener and whole house carbon block filter for our needs. Because our incoming city water line was on the side of the house opposite the garage, where I wanted to house the water softener and carbon block filter, a complex installation was required, running copper piping underground in front of the house into the garage, and a drain line running back out of the garage into the sewer connection. Otherwise, the water softener would have had to been kept outside, exposed to the elements. This was not an option for me even though it would have been the least expensive way to get softened water into my home.
Unsure about having all that new copper plumbing run under my front lawn and walkways, I called in a plumber for a second opinion and a price quote. He basically offered me the same installation options as Mountain Fresh did, but at a price 2.5X greater than the Mountain Fresh quote. So, I decided to go with Mountain Fresh.
On 8/21/2013, two Mountain Fresh employees showed up on time to begin the installation. They were very friendly and accommodating. I asked them at the last moment to change a badly corroded water valve, since they would be working around it anyway, and they were glad to do it for me at a small additional charge. It took them about 4 hours to dig the trenches, lay the copper, and install the filter and water softener. When they finished they cleaned up the yard and garage, and other than the copper pipe running on the wall of my garage into a new filter and water softener, I would never have known they were here. Although I didn't ask them to do this, they also installed a soft-water valve on the side of the house, so I can wash my car, or windows, using softened water. Very thoughtful!
A couple of days after the installation, I was not sure the water softener was working. The water didn't have the slick slimy feel I was accustomed to from the water softener in my previous home. Concerned, I called Hunter to discuss, and he offered to come over immediately to retest the water. 30 minutes later he was here, retested the water, which was indeed softened. He spent some time going over the water softener's control panel with me and we made some minor adjustments.
2 months later….to sum it up, I believe I received top-notch water treatment products at a fair price. The cost of the installation was incredibly inexpensive compared to what a plumber quoted, so when you combine them both, I think I got a super deal on this water system. I will update this review in the future if anything should change regarding the performance of the system, or if the installation created any unforeseen issues.

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Oracle, AZ

During the inspection, you’ll watch a high-definition video feed that shows exactly what’s going on inside the pipe—everything from minor buildup to major cracks. Your plumber pauses the footage to explain what you’re seeing and why it matters. Bright lights and self-leveling cameras make sure each section is captured clearly, so you leave with a complete picture of your sewer’s health.

Most professionals complete a standard sewer camera inspection in an hour. That window covers setting up the gear, guiding the camera through the line, and reviewing the footage with you. If your house lacks a cleanout and the technician needs to pull a toilet or access a vent stack, tack on a little extra time—and cost—for that added work.

Yes, a sewer camera inspection can help you identify septic system problems. A sewer camera gives your pro a live view of the pipes leading to the septic tank, so they can spot blockages, corrosion, leaks, or other red flags without guesswork. Pinpointing the problem quickly means you can plan the right repair and keep the entire septic system running smoothly.
