"Workers wore masks and kept a good distance when interacting with us. I am thrilled with the concrete leveling. If the driveway sinks again within 3 years they will fix it for free. Nice folks and excellent results."

"This was my first experience with W. S. Services. Will sent a two-man crew who did an excellent job mowing my lawn, edging around the sidewalks, and using a string trimmer to clean along the fence lines and under my hedges. They also did a great job trimming the 30 feet of hedges along the front of my property. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. I am very pleased with their work!"

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"The designer's plan was not followed. JNT Enterprises was not going to use a vapor barrier, nor pin the new concrete to the existing foundation. The steps from the porch to the grade as per the plans came as an extra charge. The"

"Workman took three days to shore up the foundation of this very old garage. He was polite, and did a nice job. Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. I went with more conservative repair.. It looks fine, and I hope I made the right decision."

"They arrived on time; were professional & polite; and did the work to my expectations. I could not have asked for a better result. (Not to mention it was a lot cheaper than having the concrete driveway replaced.) Nice people too."

"Luke and his team installed 2 patios for me and they did a fantastic job! We are so thoroughly impressed with the quality of work; you can tell that Luke takes pride in what he does and we are just so grateful. From our initial consultation to job completion, the process was professional, smooth and timely. These patios are the first phase of our backyard project and we look forward to working with this company again when we install the next phase."

"Kevin and his crew were fantastic.  Kevin came to our home when were were not here to give us a quote on the slab jacking services.  He gave us a price and arranged a time to come do the work.  He and his crew came on time.  Originally he was going to raise only a couple of the slabs but when we got home he raised more than originally stated, not complaining it looked great!  Due to it raining slightly he wasn't able to fill in the holes with concrete so he stated he would come back on a nicer day to complete the job.  He came out as promised and filled in the holes and even filled in the gap between the slab and our front stoop.  Kevin did more work that we expected and the price was great.  Would highly recommend Jacksonville Contracting Company and would definitely use them again. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Owings Mills, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
