"Quickly diagnosed the central air conditioning system, and gave an estimate on the cost of recharging the refrigerant in the compressor. The system is a 14 year old Carrier unit. Albert also included some sealant that may plug up the slow leak of refrigerant that occurs every 2 years or so. Albert also, showed me how to adjust the damper to control the flow of air to the second and third floors of the house. The other company that arrived wanted to charge me $5,000 to repair the system or close to $7,000 to replace the AC system with new. I intend to call upon Magna Tech Temp Air, Inc when I'm ready to purchase a new HVAC system. Thanks again for taking the time to listen to my concerns. Well done!!!"

"They delivered what they promised! Mark Walker, sale manager for The Home Depot and McCrea, worked very hard to get our 2 new Carrier units, even though equipment in short supply. The McCrea installation team got our new units up and running beautifully. We are grateful to the dedication, and hard working of every body involved to get the job done right."

"Although they provide a time frame for service, frequently they are late or have to re-schedule. When ARS installed my furnace, they provided a humidifier as well. However, the humidifier is not included in the maintenance contract, and any work or filter change on the humidifier is extra. The cost is almost as much as the maintenance contract. They used to answer the phone asking how they could provide exceptional service. No longer do they ask that. Makes sense, because they do not provide exceptional service. Also, the technician seems to want to convince you to buy additional equipment, which may or may not be needed."

"Called another company I was familiar with but had to pursue them for 5 days! No heat and told it was best to replace the entire unit by 3rd day and they'd order the parts (3 men, 4 hours, & $3k was what I was told). Finally, decided it was too much suffering and temps were dropping. Called Relax Air and he came within the hour, did a thorough analysis. Very professional. The final outcome was one of 3 parts were broken. Also a parts dealer, returned with the parts and tried each one. It was the module, fixed in one day, and for under $1k. He also checked/fixed the humidifier (which said initial company said they did upon initial repair visit and 2 yrs ago for regular maintenance) and adjusted the heating so the house is now perfectly balanced. After 4 years living here, finally no more cold spots!"

"I AM BUYING A HEATER SERVICE CONTRACT FROM PETRO THIS YEAR."

"The technician arrived in a timely manner. He was professional and very competent throughout the tedious work on my AC unit and fan motor. I have used Polar Bear for a number of years on all of my properties and would highly recommend them to anyone with heating or A/C repairs. They are fantastic!"

"Diet was awesome and amazing--perfect service, an excellent and expert professional!! Extremely highly recommended---10 stars!!!"

"We are really impressed with Beacon’s overall delivery of services. Quick response, timely and helpful customer service, good professionalism from the technicians. You know exactly what you’re going to get - skilled craftsmen who are on time, articulate the job well and get the work done correctly. While the service is a bit pricy and I would really like to see estimates presented with a by line item breakdown in the estimate, I understand those concerns are mitigated by the quality of craftsmanship and the excellent warranty period on installation/labor. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with our electricians and plumber when we had the dubious honor of needing an electrical panel and water heater replaced over the course of a weekend. Beacon is awesome. 12/10 recommend."
