"Technician arrived and promptly diagnosed an issue with pressure switch. He reset my unit to get it running again and left, in a hurry. $69 for a 10-15 minute visit. Only thing is, once he left, the unit stopped again and I had to call to have him come back. Looking closer, he diagnosed a bigger problem (electrical board) and had to order the item. We paid for rush delivery and waited for him all day the next day, only to find out late that it would be delayed an extra day. Eventually the part arrived and the repair was made in a matter of minutes."

"I have been a customer for a very long time and this scheduled maintenance and dryer vent cleaning was done by Cesar. I have to say he is one very thorough technician and I was very pleased with his inspection and vent cleaning. His service was so different than some of the ones I've had before. I even had one inspector tell me he didn't need to check in my attic which houses one of our two units. Let me tell you about Cesar, he even cleaned up behind my dryer for me. This is something that is rare in customer service. I have my HVAC seasonally maintenanced and never had a inspector be as thorough as him. The pictures he took and explained to me and the one problem he found that no other inspector had found in all this time. I tried to spare him from the attic heat for the repair and have him return on another day in the morning but he didn't mind going back in there to fix the problem for us although it was in the dead heat of the day. I just hope the company sees this review and knows what a good technician they have in Cesar."

"Update: 7/1/2021 - I had Neighborhood Specialists come out and replace/upgrade two furnaces, two AC units, water heater, and air filtration system in our new home. Once again, stellar service! "Very pleased. Our 18 year old AC unit needed a charge. Aside from the fact that R-22 is almost extinct, the unit ran fairly well for a builder grade 10 seer. R-22 is quite costly these days. Service call was made with a fast response during a busy period. The unit was charged and inspected and the house cooled down. During the inspection it was noted that the gas furnace was rusted to a point where the gas valve had to be turned off. Time for a new system. AC and furnace replaced. There was one minor glitch but it was resolved. This glitch was no fault of the installers. The unit is up and running perfectly. There was no up selling. I had done my research and chose a system within our budget that would work well and it does. I chose Pope’s because a few years back they came out and gave me advice on my DIY thermostat replacement with no charge. I wrote a review back then and said I would call them when I needed service. They seem to operate under the radar - no TV advertising as far as I know. Their price is fair and I will be calling them shortly again to replace a gas water heater. Thanks"

"I chose to call this provider because of his high references and proximity to my house.  Mr. Singh took my phone call and was at my house within the hour.  He was incredibly prompt and courteous.  He pulled out my refrigerator and diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes.  He showed me where the relay compressor was located and what it should be doing and how it should look.  He mentioned that it might of blown during a storm or power outage.  He had the part on him and offered to replace it immediately.  I had him replace the piece and he was done within 10 minutes.  He gave me some recommendations including on how to reset my refrigerator and also to buy a surge protector to plug my refrigerator into (so that this does not happen again).  He cleaned up the area that he was working in, which he didn't need to (when he pulled my frig out, there was tons of dirt and dust underneath). His company supports all appliances and HVAC and I requested a quote for an AC checkup.  I will be calling US Appliances and Services again in a month or so before I need to turn on my AC.
