"Ron was incredible! I found his 30 year old sticker on the old gas post and was relieved he was still in business! No doubt because of his wonderful work ethic. Ron was responsive to phone calls and any questions. He was thorough at explaining everything and was at our place quickly and on time. I was so pleased he was willing to move our grill from one home to the next! Once the work was completed (cleaned up so beautifully!) he even used an SOS pad and water to shine up the grill!"

"We recently hired Bob and his team to run a new gas line and install a gas log insert into our existing fireplace. Bob came out to get an estimate and came up with a plan that worked really well for our old Cleveland Height house. Greg and Craig came out this week to do the installation. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and we are so happy to finally enjoy our fireplace. Additionally, its excellent to know that we have plumbers that we can trust."

"<p>I found Mr. Werle 2 years ago when we purchased a nearly 200 year old house and had a small plumbing problem.  He came over quickly, took care of the problem and was reasonably priced.  Last week we discovered an inch of water in our unattached guest house and couldn't figure out what the problem was.  I called Mr. Werle and he was in the middle of another job but said he would be over in 3 hours and instructed me to turn off the main water.</p> <p>Mr. Werle arrived in 2 hours, assessed the situation and made the necessary repairs so that we could have water back on in the main house.  Although the scope of the job was not something he was prepared to take on, he at least got the situation under control and stopped any further damage.  I appreciated his quick response, and appreciated even more his frankness and honesty about what would be needed to completely repair the plumbing in the guest house (there is a leak under the building).  And again, although Mr. Werle did not want to take on the job he did recommend another company that he thought would be better equipped to do the work.</p> <p>I have hired many, many contractors over the years who have assured me they could do the job only to find out halfway through that they could not, or had to significantly increase the prices to finish the job.  Mr. Werle's honesty was not only refreshing but so helpful in repairing the leak.</p> <p>I have already recommended Werle Plumbing to several friends, and will always call him first for any plumbing needs.</p> <br />"

"Cinder block wall needed to be partially removed and dirt removed to access pipe. Pipe was repaired and cinder block wall supported and partially covered opening. AC was extremely careful of our house and covered areas that would get dirt. Clean up was great. Everyone wore a mask and were wonderful to work with. Working with Michael Caruso was easy and a pleasure."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Painesville, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
