We are a Water Treatment business in Geauga County that has 2 employees and offers a variety of water treatment technologies. We believe in being environmentally friendly and strive to save you money. We are an honest business that is rooted in our community.
"My husband and I have resided in LeRoy Township since 2015. When we purchased our home we were told that we had a low performing well with iron issues. We contacted Chris Petrovic with CIMS Water Solutions in 2019 looking to replace a water softener system from home depot. We were sold a water system for over $4,000 which included a water osmosis system. Prior to installation my husband and I informed Pentair installers that our well was a “low performing well” and had concerns about how the equipment would function after they indicated the systems would run more water when the system would regenerate - they indicated that there would not be any issues. From 2015-2019 prior to installation we had maybe run out of water once. After having this system installed, we have run out of water very frequently. When Pentair technicians were contacted they indicated that it was our “bad water” causing the issues not the system that was installed offering no remedies to fix the issues we have experienced since installing. We had also had the well fracked in the summer of 2020 hoping to resolve water supply issues. Since that time, the water has been very salty and we have not been able to drink the water even with the osmosis system that we paid extra for. Pentair technicians have been unhelpful in resolving issues and have offered no reasonable solutions to a water system that is practically less than a year old. We have paid out of pocket in full over $4,200 and have been resorting to bottled water once again for every household use except for showering which is also an issue as the water is currently destroying my hair. Even boiled water cannot be used as the food tastes excessively salty after draining. I should have been wary about doing business with a company who took over a month just to come back and test the water after the unit was installed. Despite numerous phone calls and reminders they made it clear that they would test the water when it was convenient for them. When you're using water for everything you want assurance that the water is actually being treated properly. I would strongly not recommend this company to any person looking to remedy their well water issues especially in the Chardon area as they clearly do not understand the water issues of residents. All this company clearly cares about is money in their pocket regardless of the satisfaction of their customers. Chris Petrovic, also indicated that he would resolve any issues if we would happen to be unhappy with the product, who at this point has stopped responding to phone calls and text messages from my husband indicating that the system currently is inoperable."

"I had to move quickly, was going through a divorce and needed work done at the property to which I was moving. The most urgent item was erecting a fence for my dogs. Jeff met me at the property and we discussed a number of items I wanted done. He spoke about the big projects he's done for large corporations and assured me he could get the work done prior to my deadline. Jeff told me he needed a deposit to get started. Because I didn't want any delays, I gave him a $1,200 deposit without anything in writing. He missed every promised deadline and each time I contacted him, he turned the situation around saying he would get the work done if I stopped bothering him. I continued to contact him because nothing was getting done and he hadn't done anything to move the work forward. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. I kept on him and he finally provided me with a day he'd be out to begin erecting the fence. I couldn't be present the day he was scheduled to be out and when arrived at the property, Jeff was not there, but there were holes throughout my lawn. I called him and was told that a fence could not be erected on my property - no one would be able to install fencing because of tree roots. After he told me he couldn't proceed with the fencing, I requested that my deposit be returned. He first said he would refund the deposit. When a week passed and I received nothing from him, I contacted him again and he told me he did the work and was owed the money. Because he spent time making holes all over my property, he believed he should be paid. By the way, he left the holes throughout my lawn. Holes that created a liability for me. I continued to contact him and on one call, he indicated that he visited his lawyer and would be sending me the invoice for the money due to him, and indicated that I would receive a check for the remaining portion of the deposit. I never received any of my deposit back. Jeff is dishonest and anything but honorable. Beware."

A whole-house water filtration system is ideal if you want all the water in your home to be filtered, improving water quality and protecting your plumbing. This system can enhance your home's value. If you only need filtered water for drinking or cooking, a point-of-use filter might be a suitable alternative. Each filtration option is designed to remove specific contaminants.
Maintaining your whole‑house water filtration system is essential for uninterrupted performance and clean water. The annual expense, which ranges between $50 and $300, covers filter replacements, complete system inspections, and any required repair work. Regular maintenance keeps the system operating at peak efficiency and guarantees the highest water quality for every home use.
Installing a whole‑house water filtration system is a streamlined process that a professional can complete in one day. Multistage systems require additional time to secure proper plumbing connections and calibrate the system accurately. In contrast, point‑of‑use filters are installed within a few hours, ensuring efficient and precise integration in your home.
Most whole-house filtration systems last 10 to 20 years with proper care. Reverse osmosis units typically serve 10 to 15 years, while water distillers can exceed two decades. Lifespan depends on build quality, water chemistry, and whether filters, lamps, or membranes are changed on schedule. Regular professional inspections help you catch minor issues before they shorten the system’s life. Budget for planned component replacements to reach the upper end of that range.
Fast clogging usually points to high sediment levels, heavy water use, or both. When more dirt and minerals flow through the system, filters load up sooner and performance drops. Schedule a water test to confirm what’s in your supply, add a sediment pre-filter if needed, and follow the manufacturer’s replacement timeline to keep water pressure and quality where they belong.
