"Taylor is a great landscape/patio designer. We absolutely love our stamped concrete patio. Taylor responded right away to request for a bid and had an entire backyard design completed in a week. We wanted a flowing design with lots of curves and balance and he nailed it. Patterson landscaping sub contracts the physical work and I felt the subcontractors sometimes lacked the vision for the project, but nothing would happen until we were satisfied with the layout and plan. In the end we got an amazing patio at a fair price. We have already recommended Patterson Landscaping to friends and neighbors who have seen the finished project."

"We cannot be more pleased with Premier Custom Decks and the extraordinary craftsmanship that went into this renovation project. From Rod Saunders’ creative design and generous guidance through some decisions we needed to make, to the truly custom building of expert (skilled and experienced) builders, we have a beautiful deck that should last for years. It wasn’t an easy project, either. The old, existing 2nd-floor deck was built over bedrooms. Much of this deck had to be demolished without damaging the structure below before the new work could proceed. They were meticulously careful. The project included not only the decking, but a new bridge to the deck from another part of the house, and a new stairwell. All are sturdy and well-engineered. "I had searched everywhere for someone to do this type of job. HVAC and plumbing didn't want to look at it because of the size (too small), it wasn't HVAC and involved going through drywall. I finally tried C.M. Stone Construction (which I found through a positive comment on Angie's List) because they came up under both carpentry and drywall and advertised that "no job was too small". I described my problem to Ashlee over the phone and he came out and looked at it a few days later. Because the current dryer vent run was almost 25 ft with at least three to five 90-degree turns we discussed re-routing through the attic to the roof versus opening up the current run to diagnose the problem. Ultimately we decided to open the existing run. Two days later, Ashlee and Caleb arrived to do the work. They were on time and prepared. They opened three windows in the drywall to access the duct work. We discovered that, because of the long run and poor design, the middle eight feet of the duct was packed with [probably 30 years worth] of lint...apparently totally immune from any assault by duct cleaning companies (they had just packed it tighter). So the duct was totally cleaned out and an in-duct booster fan was installed to add power to the exhaust. The drywall was closed beautifully and all construction debris was cleaned up completely. For the first time we had a load of wet towels dry completely in one load instead of our usual three to four hours. My wife and I are very pleased with the the work of C.M. Stone Construction."

"We are overall very pleased with the outcome of my basement. At first, we were a little intimidated about “build your own basement” for the reason we wanted minimal involvement because we knew nothing about building construction. Phase I went fairly quickly with the layout, framing, drywall and other materials. We thought phase 2 would be the most difficult part, but it turned out to be very easy, we simply followed the schedule we were given along with the provided list of vendors and sub-contractors, and all went like clockwork. Overall, the build your own basement program was just the right amount of handling on our part, we were involved enough to get custom materials/fixtures to our liking and on our time schedule. We also liked the idea of having Dan, the foreman, who was able to answer all our questions and serve as the cross point between myself and the experts. The basement came out great, a seamless match to the upstairs."

"Chris and his crew came out this August and put in a 20' pondless waterfall as well as landscaped the steep hill on the side of my house where the waterfall was placed. He could not have done a better job. It came out better than I'd hoped and I had hoped for a LOT!! There's a wonderful group of people that work with Chris who are dedicated and hard working. They made a five foot terrace on the steep hill and put in rocks that matched my other landscaping. The rocks seemed impossibly big for them to have gotten into the windy path to the area. Some are three feet in diameter! Chris knew where the waterfall would best be placed and has a good eye for making sure it even looks good from inside the house. I had other people come estimate and Chris was the only one that immediately had good ideas of how it could go, he gave a prompt estimate (others took weeks!) His bid was much lower than the others. One company bid the same amount of money for just the pondless waterfall and not the extensive landscaping of the hill that was so critical. And with Chris I was able to do everything through him. The landscaping, the auto water filling and the electric hook up. It seemed impossible to get all that done with the distance those items had to go, and it was done quickly and without stress. They even improved my electric service outside to a grounded plug. It was installed during the monsoon rains we had this year with giant downpours almost every afternoon. It was amazing to see his crew of six and himself out in the rain working and at the very last day, instead of trying to get it done quickly, everyone was soaking wet and patiently looking at Chris show them how to strategically and beautifully place rocks to get the best look and waterfalls. I researched this a lot before going with Purely Ponds. I cant recommend them highly enough."
