While I ran to Home Depot to buy a new faucet, he checked out our Rinnai tankless water heater and installed the new faucet upon my return. We were concerned the solution involved increasing water pressure at our well head or somewhere in between. Moving forward, he will be our go to plumber as my wife and I both trust him. A rare commodity these days."

"Excellent. Left message at office. Jimmy was able to come same day. He inspected food disposal and explained the leak. We ok'ed replacing the disposal. He left to buy new one at Fluvanna Ace Hardware, Returned promptly, and installed new one. Duration of service about 1 1/2 hours (including trip to Ace!) "Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) helped us through the process of replacing our countertops and upgrading our kitchen. Andrew and the rest of the team there were very helpful and informative. They assisted us in understanding our options, which materials were available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. We choose granite as our best choice. CGM has a large number of selections available and was willing to walk us, literally, through their warehouse so we could look at and touch the options. They provided us with samples of those that we were interested in so that we could see what the stone looked like in our kitchen. The installers arrived on time and did a very professional job. "We have a long history with VPS, so Robert was a natural to do this job for us. The work involved several visits over the course of a month or more in coordination with the general contractor who was doing the renovation work and electricians. The work was done to a very high quality standard, as Robert knows his business well and has very high standards. He's also very friendly and a great communicator - when you can reach him. The difficulty in working with VPS is that they are so busy that telephone calls, texts and emails often don't get returned for days, and there were several occasions when VPS didn't show up when they were scheduled to, with no advance notice. This was incredibly frustrating to us and to the general and subs who have to stop work or redirect their efforts when their daily plan, which depended on plumbing work having been done beforehand, was disrupted - often for days at a time. We have been willing so far to chalk this issue up to natural growth pains of a small business, but the frustration level was such that it's not certain we will use VPS again; certainly not without a clear understanding ahead of time as to our expectations regarding communication and scheduling. VPS is best when not needed urgently and for one-visit projects.
