"When we called, an appointment was made for Jon Riep to come review our project. He came on time (it was a few days after the initial call) and reviewed the project with us and took some measurements. In a few days we received a cost quote for the work, and then we signed an official agreement for the project.  <br /> Jon contacted us right away about scheduling, and we were pleased that even in this very busy time of the year for landscapers and even though the Christmas holidays intervened they were able to start in a couple of weeks. <br /> The team showed up promptly on the appointed day and got right to work. Everything was done in a week -- there was a day of rain that caused some delay. We were very impressed that even small details such as taking care of a damaged post in one of the low-voltage lights that wasn't being replaced were remembered and dealt with. His technical expertise came to bear in recommending yard features compatible with our 2 large dogs as well as optimal spatial layout of pavers, turf, and gravel to balance energy efficiency with cost. His artistic sense came to bear in designing plant color and geometry for our small, walled yard space: he came up with a metal trellis for blooming vines that adds texture and interest to the walls, with smaller plants on either side. Unlike larger companies, he goes with his workers to the site to monitor, manage, and assist. "We worked with Rob and Devin to redo our front yard. Rob created a great design, Devin made sure that work was progressing well, the workers did a great job of building our new yard. This was a big project. Retaining walls had to be removed, new walls built, and a lot of dirt hauled away. There were no surprises along the way. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Rob even had a great design tweek in the middle of the project that made a lot of sense and made the yard look even better. Before and after pics attached. Will look even better once the new retaining walls are painted. We are very happy with the work and the way our new front yard looks."
