"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Berg Plumbing on three different remodeling projects, and each experience has been outstanding. They are consistently reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented. Communication is clear from start to finish, and they always show up on time and ready to work. The quality of their workmanship is excellent, and I especially appreciate their ability to anticipate potential issues and offer practical solutions that save time and money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing project — they’ve become my go-to plumber for remodels. "

"Awful awful company! Tried to charge me $800-some bucks for removing roots out of our line. We had another company come with their camera and it still shows the line is 1/2 blocked by roots. I?m having to pay another company to do the job correctly. Misty the ?owner? is unreasonable. Pretty sure I?ve talked to the owner before and it was NOT her. Last summer I wanted my outdoor spigots replaced and the had to come out 3 times to get it right! One was leaking because it was improperly welded (unnecessary drywall damage was done as well), then one spigot was inches away from the siding and couldn?t be connected to the outside wall. And they tried to charge me for them coming out to fix their mess up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Parachute, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
