"Paramount Pros ended up doing a good job on new gutters, painting wood soffit & fascia, and trim around sliding patio doors. However, they no-showed the first two times I had them scheduled without calling, and took more than a month to complete a fairly simple job, probably because they were waiting on a supplier. I would know for sure if they were better communicators. I had to call and ask questions. I also had to have them come back a couple of times to finish jobs correctly. In the pick two dilemma - price, speed, or quality - they're good for price and quality if you are patient and diligent about following up. If you need it done fast and right the first time, find someone else and be prepared to pay a higher price."

"This company and employees were very helpful, polite and informative on updating and installing my front room window. It did take longer than usual for this project due to the fact that the window is no longer made in my size. So we had to wait for awhile. But it was worth the wait. Both my husband and I are greatly impressed with this company and our window. We have even had compliments on it. We also found that this window brings in more light than the old one. "Russ (and family) was great to work with and did high quality work. He came by to give us a quote on expansion of window openings, moving door openings, etc. He informed us that we had structural brick (only a wooden header which was only allowed for several years before the technique was banned). He let us know he would not do the work until we spoke with a structural engineer because of this. As new owners of this old house, we were very happy to have someone who was knowledgeable of the way our house was built and was able to guide us to ensure our home remained structurally sound. He helped us come up with a plan to do the work we needed to fit his and our scheduled remodeling steps. We're extremely happy and impressed with the work. You can't tell where brick was added. The colors match better than we ever expected. It was also great to work with a true family business! Sometimes the kids would come help and his dad showed up on occasion as well. I highly recommend Russ for his craftsmanship, knowledge and work quality! Following is a bit more detail on the work and results. We expanded nearly all windows and doors in our 1959 brick house. We also added two sliding doors to the back of the house. There was a regular swinging door that needed to be bricked over. Because of all of the added openings, we had lots of extra brick. Russ was able to clean and reuse our original brick window sills and tooth in every opening. You know when you drive around an older neighborhood and you can see the brickwork from the street? Not from Russ. You absolutely cannot tell where he toothed anything in. Our mortar color isn't available anymore. He is so experienced, he mixed it by eye and it matches perfectly. Russ was also instrumental in other things. He helped the window people measure correctly and gave us structural advice that the first engineer missed. Russ may not be the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for."

"David arrived on time on Wednesday morning to give me an estimate of the cost of repair. He took a look at the damage and inspected a second chimney which had not been covered and we agreed on a price. He started work that day and removed several rows of loose brick from the top of the damaged chimney (the chimney had been overly tall) and fixed the flu pipe which had been dislodged when the old cap was knocked off. He ordered two new caps and returned on Friday morning to install them. He installed water collars around the flue pipes to prevent any water leakage, and installed a missing pipe cap on one flue. I was extremely pleased with his work!! David is very professional, punctual, and communicates very well. I will definitely hire him again if the need arises."

"<p>They did a fantastic job of cleaning the brick on my house. There was a lot of white staining under the gables and staining in other places, and now it is all the same color, and much brighter. I hired someone else to remove the staining a couple of years ago, and they failed, and I also tried to remove it myself without any success, so I am very pleased with the results.</p> <p>My chimney was also falling apart and they did a great job of rebuilding it. They matched the color of the original mortar perfectly, so you can't tell where the new mortar starts. They also poured a nice concrete crown, and the chimney looks great. </p> They were friendly, prompt and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them. <br />"

"We have previously tried to find someone to build a brick mailbox for us but have been unsuccessful finding anyone who wanted such a small job. In the last few days, we've found our current mailbox on its side. We knew that the temporary fix would not last so I got busy to find someone who could do the job. I found Adam's listing on Angie's list and reviewed the remarks made from those who submitted a review. We called Adam and he said he was doing a job in our area and would be interested in the job. Adam came to our home and we talked about the options, price, etc. We were pleased when he quoted his price and he also said that we could get our house number that could be attached to the brick. Adam called us and informed us that he could get the same brick our home has which was good news as our home was built about 18 years ago. Adam came to do the job and finished it in one day. He work was excellent. We couldn't be more pleased with our new mailbox. We would highly recommend Adam and his company.
