"I have used action appliance many times in the past with no problems. My only problem this time is they arrived as planned. They tell you it is $129.50 for diagnosing the problem. And if they do the repair it is $239. The young man showed up and found the plastic tubing from the ice maker wasn't seated properly in the incoming receptacle. He said it would be $239 to fix it -- which I though OK. All he did was feed more of the plastic line (coiled up) from the inside of the fridge to the outside of the fridge in the back. He then took the line seated in receptacle, cut off a foot of line, and seated it in the receptacle. This took no more than 10 minutes -- then charged me $239!!! I think this is absolutely ridiculous for 10 minutes of work. Talk about a rip-off."

"I am very pleased with Mr. L'Heroux's services.  I called him after some water damage appeared in the roof, being under pressure due to another storm coming. He came over that day, examined the roof, and took corrective action.
When I had an another water issue later on after a nasty snow/ice/rain storm, he came over free of charge to examine the roof again. I believe this may have been due to an ice dam and faulty roof contruction, which has nothing to do with this contractor. I have not seen any leaks since.
