"Safety First was terrific. I went on another site to search for chimney sweeps in my area and came up with several names. When I posted something about needing a chimney sweep, Vincent from Safety First was the first person and first company to respond (within about 3 minutes). Vincent offered to come up to my town, which is probably about 45 minutes from where he is based, but the weather and driving conditions were bad, so we scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Vincent worked hard-- it takes someone who is strong to force the piping up into the flue to clear the blockage. Vincent also vacumed the flue and checked it later to make sure it was venting properly. He was very polite and conscientious- he called to tell me when he was on his way, showed me his business card when he arrived, cleaned up after himself, and was honest. I had been told by someone else that I needed to replace my furnace, which kept shutting itself off. It turns out the furnace has a safety mechanism that shuts down the gas/heating function if the furnace detects that it is getting too hot or there is a problem with insufficient ventilation. Because Safety First cleared the blocked flue, my furnace is now able to heat my house and there is no need for it to shut itself off. I would have had Safety First install the replacement furnace, and told Vincent that already, so by telling me my equipment did not need to be replaced he actually is cutting himself off from a job I otherwise would have been glad to give him. If I need any chimney/fireplace work done in the future I will contact Safety First and not need to look elsewhere."

"Troy returned my call quickly, and was at my house in no time to assess the ice dams that had developed on my roof.  He offered to do the work immediately.  His price was very high, but I needed to get the Ice cleared quickly and no one else had responded to my inquiries.  I expressed serious concern for potential damage to my gutter guards as they were intending to use masonry tools to chop up the ice.  Troy provided a guarantee in writing to be responsible for the gutters as well as the roof shingles 5 feet back.  Given this, I agreed to the work.  They were done in 3 hours.

In the spring, I climbed up on a ladder to assess the full damage to my guards.  The screens were torn up and the guards were broken along the entire length of the roof.  I sent pictures to Troy and explained these were LeafFilter guards (www.leaffilter.com), a fairly expensive product which can only be installed by LeafFilter directly.  Troy agreed to meet me halfway on the repair which I felt was fair considering he wouldn't be able to do the install work himself.  

My gutter guards were repaired by LeafFilter recently; and, I'm happy to report that Troy stood behind his guarantee and wrote me a check for 50% of the repair."

"After hurricane sandy in 2012 a lot of people in Brooklyn and  Long Island got flooded a lot of home owners received flood damages or  lost their property due to Hurricane Sandy... I am living on Cony Island Seagate  area at that time I was home with my Family and how a remember the water came up to my house and flooded my basement and first floor of my house... They did remodeling on the master bathroom from the first floor and kitchen, they did a wonderful job...We love their new engineered Hardwood floor and the new design of the bathroom with the big bathtub and shower cabinet ... The price we spend ed was a little higher than we were   expected because we did some design work in the living room and Kitchen but for sure it worth it....If Someone will ask me for a recommendation for sure I will recommend Structureline because they helped me out at that time ....Thanks"
