"From the start when they came out for the estimate everything went very smooth. There was good communion with office over scheduling and any questions we had. It was installed in the time frame which they told us. The installer was very professional and he took his time and the glass looks wonderful. He explained how to care for the enclosure and told us to call if we had any problems in the future .This was a seamless installation and we are very happy with the company's service. The price was fair as we had 5 estimates.and ruled some out for other reasons.

"Rob was personable, professional and prompt! He was able to seamlessly repair a custom window and even matched the tint. You are unable to tell it was repaired. His prices are very fair, and competitive. Would recommend him to anyone looking for window repair and other glass services"

"Needed emergency service after I replaced a bathroom light and fan switch. In replacing the switch I noticed that the breaker listed for that switch in the panel did not turn off the power to the switch. I shut the main breaker but could not get it to go on again. Called RJ Little and Rich was out on Saturday morning of Thanksgiving Weekend within 45 minutes. He replaced the main breaker and when he checked the bathroom switch he explained that the previous electrician had set up two power sources to that switch with two different breakers in the electrical panel. Rich rewired the switch. He also noticed that the whole house surge protector that I had installed years ago was not installed properly and I should consider a better unit. He came out quickly as we were without heat and electric and he was very professional. I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him."

"We had several small projects that needed to be done and Dan did an excellent job on every one of them. From installing a storm door, painting and repairs to cracked drywall, to installing aluminum around our wood trim of the garage and basement door. Everything looked great and were are thrilled with the work that was done. We would highly recommend Dan for any home improvement project that you may have. We will certainly use him again for our next project."

"First off, know that with this company you are getting subcontractors.  In this case, the subcontractor was great and did quality work.  There were some problems/delays that were caused by the Millennium team who was responsible for ordering/delivery, etc.
They started demolition pretty much on the day they started ordering things (tubs, etc.) and so of course there were some things that took longer than expected which caused delays in the work.  There were also issues with the wrong items being ordered and delivered which I was thankfully able to flag before installation.  This was sort of an odd thing because it happened multiple times and even the subcontractor was scratching his head a bit about this.  That was just bad project management and execution on Millennium's side.  For these reasons, the overall score dropped to a B.
But, I want to say that I am happy with the end result and the bathrooms look great.  There was a lot of good on this project.  Darin was helpful in picking out items as that was a bit overwhelming for me and I appreciated that.  As I said, the subcontractor did excellent quality work, they were super nice, worked on some Saturdays, put up with our dog, etc.  In the end, the quality and look is the most important thing and that was great.
Millennium (Darin) did acknowledge their mishaps and made sure to credit me for the inconveniences.  I never felt like he was trying to duck me or take advantage, he was very responsive to all my concerns.
So ya know, good company, but probably needs some close attention by the homeowner so that you catch any mishaps and flag any issues.  I suppose this is typical of a construction project.
Regarding the use of subs, I would imagine you could have varying quality this way.  Our guys were Jerry and Chris and they were great.

"We are pleased with the products we received BUT the road from start to finish was long and frustrating. Signed contract 6/11/17, installation was 8/14/17 no biggie except we were told 30 days not 60 and we had to make few calls to press for the date we got. The installer cracked a window during installation. Again no biggie,sh*t happens. The "rush" on the replacement window took several follow up calls to get an another installation date of 9/29/17. My husband takes off, two guys show up without the window and said they thought they were doing a service call. My less then professional conversation with John the manager led to another appointment for the next day. The guy shows up, replaces the window but doesn't have the "j" channel to complete the job. Two days later I get a call to reschedule yet another appointment 2 weeks out and that I had to be home. The rep had no idea the last piece of the work only required outside access and even when I explained he still insisted I needed to be home. One last conversation with the acting manager (I was told John was on vacation) and we were scheduled for the following week which was 10/9/17. The job was completed that day and I was left with pieces of "j" channel in the flower bed. The other criticism would be the length of time spent on hold with customer service; with all the calls I had to make I was NEVER able to complete an entire call on my 15 min. break."

"I selected McHales Inc. to do a complete remodeling of two bathrooms and a powder room. The results are wonderful and I would give McHales the highest recommendation to anyone looking for a contractor to do remodeling work.
The project begins with Doug who does the design and estimating. Doug came to my home to see the bathrooms and took pictures and measurements. I met several times with Doug at their Showroom location to select all the materials, equipment and color combinations. The available choices seemed to be endless with much of the equipment on display in the Showroom so you can see exactly what you are getting. Doug was very helpful suggesting various color combinations and the results are wonderful. Doug prepares a detailed written estimate complete with computer-generated pictures of the new rooms and a work time schedule. The pictures are in color, detailed and accurate, and the work schedule turned out to be absolutely accurate to the day. A wonderful start to the job.
McHales keeps you fully informed as to what and when things will happen. Work started on schedule. Larry was the Project Manager and along with Pete did all the work except Bob and Marty ? plumbing, Ed and Ron ? electrical, and Dan ? painting. The work begins with Larry putting down a heavy cover over all the rugs in and to the work areas. The demolition of the bathrooms is done very carefully with all the scrap loaded immediately into a scrap dumpster/trailer. All work areas are left clean and orderly at the end of each day. Larry tells you each morning what is planned to be done that day and before leaving at the end of the day tells you when he will be back the next morning. As the installation work proceeds, Larry tells you whenever there is a choice for a particular arrangement and/or location and you get to make the decision. When you have a question, suggestion, or request, Larry is extremely cooperative and makes sure that you are completely satisfied. Working with Larry was a wonderful experience.
The project was completed on schedule and on budget. All the workmanship, equipment and materials are absolutely first class and the new bathrooms are spectacular.

FAQs for mirrors installation and replacement projects in Perkiomenville, PA

If your mirror needs recoating, mirror resilvering costs between $110 and $350. Otherwise, you can replace just the glass if your mirror has a frame. You can get a mirror cut at a home improvement store or cut it yourself with a glass cutting tool. If the damage is extensive, there’s a chance you’ll have to replace both the frame and the glass.

Mirrors come in nearly any size, with your local home improvement store usually having 48-inch by 72-inch mirrors for a home gym or dance studio. You can also buy custom-designed mirrors in whatever size fits your needs. Oversized mirrors often start at $1,000 or more, depending on the size and design.

Mirrors are expensive because manufacturing them requires specialized machinery, such as a furnace that reaches ultra-high temperatures to produce molten glass, then a way to cool and form the glass. You cut mirrors with a diamond saw and coat them with metal to create a reflective surface. A silver-backed mirror also requires a chemical process, though most mirrors have an aluminum backing now. A framed mirror can also add to the price.

To look for a quality mirror, consider its purity, flatness, thickness, and reflective coating on the glass. The glass purity can ensure a distortion-free reflection, and thicker glass can decrease the chances of distortion as well. The reflective coating makes a difference, and high-quality mirrors will have several thicker coats of reflective material, like tin-mercury, aluminum, or silver.
