"We were extremely satisfied with the work of Mr. Deskins. We would call him again if we need house repairs. We do like using local companies to support the local economy and would be sure to clarify this in the future. The roof work team came from Kentucky. ( A person who came with Mr. Deskins on a second visit (name Mark or Bob?) stated that the team would come from south side Indianapolis.) I suspect that the load of work due to hail storms caused a crunch on the availability of work teams. <br /> <br /> The roofing work team did use a machine that seemed to be a magnet yet we found nails in and around the driveway during the next two weeks. It could be that the nails came from the roof and gutters with rainfall. <br /> <br /> The gutter company did a very satisfactory job in replacement. We would have appreciated a quicker turnaround and improved communication by this company. They arrived one day to do work and had a problem with electrical equipment on their truck. They returned week later. We had to initiate calls to reschedule. <br /> <br /> Again, we were very pleased with Universal and Mr. Mike Deskins. The Universal office was prompt in communications as well as Mr. Deskins. We would use Universal again. <br />"

"The work started on schedule and the crew came daily and spent all day each time. The job was tough for them in that we have three gables protruding from the roof on the third floor, and the outsides of the gables are rounded. This required a lot of precise metal work, molded to fit over the gables' round part and sealed properly along the borders of the sloping roof and around the windows. The crew worked long hours, meticulously to get it right -- for example, to allow proper water drainage along the back and sides of the gables -- and it seems that they did get it right. Also, our carport required nice handiwork with the metal. All told, with the last part of the project being asphalt re-roofing, the work crew was here for more than week. <br /> I should add that our previous asphalt roofing was damaged over at least two hailstorms, so we were helped by home insurance. In fact, after the insurance company offered its initial settlement, the Metal Pro Roofing salesman phoned the insurance adjuster to point out damage that he had missed. The insurance company increased the settlement substantially. <br /> IF there had been no hail damage and insurance payout, we would not have been at a time when the roofing needed replacement. And when that time had come, I can't say 100 percent that we would have been ready to invest the amount that this job cost. That being said, we really like the results and were fully happy with Metal Pro. Our house seems better-insulated with the new roof (the metal was installed over the existing roof). And hopefully, we won't have to worry about our roof ever again. <br /> <br />"

"Our experience was amazing!!! From initial call, to estimate, to contract, and scheduling Andrea and Sergio were efficient, kind, and professional! Sergio arrived when he said he would and he and his partner immediately got to work covering and protecting the areas where the stucco work would be done. I so appreciated their care. Then, they got to work. Over the course of two days they got our stucco back to looking perfect! They did an incredible job! They matched the stucco texture beautifully and blended it so well! We have used three different stucco contractors for both interior and exterior work with subpar results. Sergio and his partner did such incredible work that you cannot even tell we removed a window and installed a new window. We are so thankful to them for their amazing work and grateful to have excellent craftsmen to help us maintain our stucco!"

"I noticed a water stain on the first floor ceiling of my cape cod style house. Based on a recommendation from a friend I contacted Quality Home Improvements and Susan came out. She quickly determined the problem was likely flashing around one of my dormer windows on the second floor. I also asked her opinion about a section of roof that appeared to have inadequate ventilation and decided to install additional vents. Also upon looking at the roof she suggested replacing some degrading flashing around a vent pipe on the roof. I also expressed my concern about the overall condition of the roof and she told me it looked fine. I was impressed by this assessment since a less than honest contractor could have tried to sell me a new roof. Due to recent storms they were backed up with work, but she still gave me a time frame as to when the work could be done. Soon thereafter her work crew happened to be doing work at a neighbor's home and they realized my house was next door. So while working on the neighbor's house a couple workers came over and fixed my roof. Overall I was very pleased with her assessments and recommendations. Her suggestions were fair and reasonable. She clearly sees the value in building a long-term relationship with the customer."

"W M Holland Inc demolished and replaced all of my cabinets. Their plumber has fixed a rusted pipe and placed a few new drain lines. The plumber placed a new line for the water and ice supply in my refrigerator. There was a split in one of the cabinets that was ordered for the project. The crack was in a piece of wood that goes around my fridge, they discounted the piece because of the crack. They put wood filler in the crack and it's hardly noticeable now. They also placed braces for my counter tops. They did a super job."
