"We suddenly lost the picture on our flat screen Smart TV. We worked with the manufacturer's help desk by phone but it was difficult to analyze the problem with no picture. The help desk informed us it was most likely either the main mother board (which would be expensive to repair and would be about the cost of a new TV) or the backlight/s went bad which would be a less expensive fix. They said they could schedule someone to come out or we could find someone ourselves. We chose to use Angi to help us find a reputable repair technician. We chose Wilwert Electronics. We called their shop and discussed the problem. We were given a ballpark price for the repair, and agreed to bring the TV to the shop for an analysis of the problem. Tony Wilwert called back a few days later and informed us the problem was with the backlights and provided a price for parts and labor which was a lot less than the price of a new TV. He said it would take a week to 10 days to complete the repair. About 2 weeks later, Tony called us and said the TV was ready to be picked up. All was working fine again. Tony and his staff were very personable and easy to work with. He informed us he repairs all forms of electronics. In his words, "if it has an electric cord on it, he will work on it". We will definitively use Wilwert Electronics in the future, if the need arises, and would certainly recommend him to our family and friends."

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."
