I’m a Phoenix-based audio/visual professional with years of hands-on experience in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and live event production. My background includes working as an A/V Technician for Encore Global, where I set up and operated microphones, speakers, projectors, large displays, and complete event systems for clients of all sizes. I specialize in clean installs, efficient problem-solving, and making sure every system works exactly as it should.\n\nCustomer service is at the core of my work. Whether I’m in someone’s home or at a large venue, I prioritize clear communication, safety, and attention to detail. "Went great. I had an old 46 inch TV removed from the wall in my living room and they installed a new 65 inch TV and programmed it. I am also a cord cutter in regards to cable. They installed a TV antenna in the attic and they activated three outlets in my three bedrooms. The TV antenna is great because the picture is fantastic and I receive a ton of signals; its a great way to save money from cable. Justin the owner came out and did the initial estimate and he was fantastic to speak with. Justin's two employees that came out to do the install were great and they worked non stop while they were at my home and they were easy to speak to if I had questions. They worked the entire day at my home. I will have them come back to hang two other TV's in my other two bedrooms. Service was fantastic and I am super happy."

"Steve called me and asked me some questions about my tv. I said I’d get back to him with the error blink codes, etc. I called him back and he said he said it was most likely the SC board, which is a $300 part. Not worth it for me for an 11-yr-old tv, no matter how great the picture. No charge, but great service and advice! I ordered the board on EBay for $100 & will try to replace it myself."

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"Simply stated this is a very customer service oriented company. The owner of this company, Tim is very responsive to the needs of the customer. He is very hands on in terms of the job being done right and best of all he provides his service at a very fair and reasonable price. If you are in need of this type of service, please don't hesitate to call as you will likely come away with the same positive result as me.

FAQs for tv or home theater accessory service projects in Phoenix, AZ

Most professional TV repair technicians charge between $65 and $150 per hour or a flat rate of $60 to $300, including diagnostic fees. Some repair shops have minimum charges of around $100. Costs vary based on the complexity of the repair, any replacement parts that you might need, and the TV's make and model.

Fixing a cracked TV screen involves replacing the entire display panel because the screen is fragile and its repair is complex. The repair cost ranges from $400 to $1,000, which in many cases is very close to the value of the TV. Homeowners must obtain a professional estimate and compare the expense to the price of a new television, especially if the set is older.

Plasma TVs are repairable when issues arise, especially for problems involving the power supply, backlight, or control board. Repairing these components maintains the functionality of the unit and safeguards its performance. Consult a qualified repair specialist to assess the issue and determine the correct repair approach.

TV warranties generally don’t cover cracked screens or issues caused by damage or accidents. Sometimes, an extended warranty covers repairing or replacing a malfunctioning screen or other defective parts. An extended warranty costs 10% to 20% of the cost of the TV. Keep in mind that some warranties are void if you perform your own repairs.

Flat‑screen TVs have an established lifespan of 100,000 hours of use, meaning they can operate effectively for about 10 years in an average household. This lifespan is influenced by factors such as high brightness settings that accelerate wear. Maintaining moderate brightness and proper care ensures the TV meets this expectation.
