"I have never had to repair a TV before and I would definitely not recommend repairing any of these fancy smart TVs. Just buy a new one because thatâ s how much youâ re going to pay for a repair. The folks at Clearwater TV are courteous and pleasant, but they charged me to take away the TV and of course Iâ m at least partly invested at that point. It was a high pressure sales job once they quoted me the repair price because I was inclined not to repair it.. My TV had a power problem and wouldnâ t turn on at all. Now I can use it but it turns itself on which was a problem before the repair and I suspect is linked to what caused it to break. Iâ ll never know for sure because at this point my next step is new TV. My only consolation is that I might have at least staved off disposing something in our highly disposable culture."

"Tv too old to fix if at allpossible"

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."
