"This is the second job, John, Daryll, and company have done for us. I like the way they respect our home and take extra steps to keep the job as clean and neat as possible. They have skills that make them perfect for remodel jobs on older homes as well as newer homes. They provide the best "bang for the buck" if you wish to hire pros. And since I myself do not possess the necessary talents to do such fine work, I'm glad they're nearby."

"We wish we'd found Dave earlier in the building process. We would have had him take care of the trim and other carpentry as well as doing all the floors. We can't say enough good things about this man's work ethic. He does the work of two people, but he does it better than any other two people we've met. He made the solid oak flooring for our home, installed it, and finished it. He also laid the tile in our entryway, mud room, and two bathrooms (including a marble & slate shower stall.) After the house was "completed", we brought Dave back to help us work on the walkout level. He is the only person we've rehired."

"I was very impressed with how responsive they were. They were able to get started very quickly, and completed the job in two days. I was impressed with how well the crew interacted; they all worked hard and seemed to get get along well with each other.  An architect neighbor also was impressed with their work and asked for their business information for his future use. The work they did was top quality. They went above and beyond what I'd expected, and fixed a big problem with a leaky skylight. <br />"

Our construction business is a small business that has no employees at this time due to the type of work and work load. I have many sub contractors that work together on projects which allows the quality of work to be assured. Usually half down is required the day a project is started and final payment is due within thirty days of job completion.

"Contractor met at the site to review the conditions and then provided an estimate. We set a date the crew would arrive and the contractor called several days before to see if they could come a day ahead of schedule. We were delighted they could start early. they arrived promptly at 8:00 AM on the start date and began work. The crew was courteous and worked diligently to finish the job in 2 1/2 days. Each day they cleaned up the site before they left and when the work was completed they cleaned the site very nicely. At several point the contractor had questions about how we wanted the details completed and we were happy to be consulted on these issues. We added a layer of closed cell insulation under the metal roof to help dampen the sound and teh contractor provide the additional material at a very fair price. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Pillager, MN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
