"I decided to purchase the Big Deal because my AC unit seemed to be rattling.  The noise was intermittent but it was worrisome. 
UMC Appliance Repair Co. arrived a little late but they called to say they were delayed on a previous job. When they arrived, I told the technician about the noise.  After inspecting the unit, he say that the condenser coil was extremely dirty and he recommended an acid wash.  He asked when the unit had last been serviced.  Since it had been a while since I had had a basic service, I told him to go ahead.  He also said I was a little low on freon so I told him to top it off.  These services added an extra $310 to the Angie's Big Deal.
The AC unit is on the roof.  The technician assured me that the acid wash would not hurt the roof or the plants in my yard.  In order to avoid future acid washes, he recommended servicing the unit 2 times a year. 
The air conditioner is running quietly and efficiently now.  I was unhappy with my old AC service so I will certainly use UMC Appliance Repair in the future.

"Plumber said it's a good idea to clear plumbing lines every 10 years or so depending upon how much grease, oil, etc each household uses.  I thought that sounded like a good idea to power clean my lines.  I assumed it was included in the price but they charged an additional $400.  I didn't think it was fair since my lines had no problems and looked great.  I was not expecting this additional cost. At the time I couldn't fine their advertisement with all the services included until later. I did not have time (my fault) to do research as to how much these services cost.  They said since they were here anyway why not get the service done now rather than schedule additional service call.

"Joseph came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. It turned out that Joseph was actually a former (maybe current?) Maytag (now Whirlpool) repairman who had been contacted by Nationwide. He diagnosed the problem and returned the next day with the replacement part. He was personable and the repair was quickly done. The washer has worked perfectly since. (So much for Maytag repairmen who sit around waiting for calls because the appliances never break down.)"

"We chose Moshe and Precise after reading all the glowing Angie List reviews.  We wondered if the reviews could be overstatements.  It turns out that the reviews were spot on.  We could not have been happier with our experience with Moshe, Yari (our foreman), Lee (the office manager), and all the workmen.  This is one highly professional outfit.  Here's what we appreciated:  We had many minor unforeseen complications during the project and Moshe and Yari always just rolled with it, came up with the best solutions, and executed changes without complaint (or even additional costs); after every workday, our home was left in pristine condition; every workman came when he was expected and worked every day of the project; any questions or concerns were dealt with immediately by Moshe through phone or email contact; and, much to our relief, Moshe and Yari were able to complete the project two weeks ahead of schedule!  About three weeks after the project was completed, we had a minor issue with one travertine tile in our shower.  Although this was a problem with the material (and not the workmanship), Yari came and promptly repaired it.  We had such a great experience with Precise that we plan on giving their name/phone number out to anyone who is considering a home project."
