"I LOVE Neli. I've used them three times now. Harmond (my Neli service man) is a joy to work with and an absolute walking encyclopedia of appliance repair. Our thirty-year-old washer are dryer are running like new, at a fraction of the cost of replacing them."

"Thanks for the quick fix of my dish washer . It was really stressing me up . You are the best."

"I decided to purchase the Big Deal because my AC unit seemed to be rattling.  The noise was intermittent but it was worrisome.
UMC Appliance Repair Co. arrived a little late but they called to say they were delayed on a previous job. When they arrived, I told the technician about the noise.  After inspecting the unit, he say that the condenser coil was extremely dirty and he recommended an acid wash.  He asked when the unit had last been serviced.  Since it had been a while since I had had a basic service, I told him to go ahead.  He also said I was a little low on freon so I told him to top it off.  These services added an extra $310 to the Angie's Big Deal.
The AC unit is on the roof.  The technician assured me that the acid wash would not hurt the roof or the plants in my yard.  In order to avoid future acid washes, he recommended servicing the unit 2 times a year.
The air conditioner is running quietly and efficiently now.  I was unhappy with my old AC service so I will certainly use UMC Appliance Repair in the future.

"He was wonderful. Figuring out what was wrong & repairing the garage door so it operated correctly. Highly recommend him. Had no idea what was wrong. He investigated & determined a piece was broke. Got the part & replaced it in my garage door hardware. Did a great job!"

"Plumber said it's a good idea to clear plumbing lines every 10 years or so depending upon how much grease, oil, etc each household uses.  I thought that sounded like a good idea to power clean my lines.  I assumed it was included in the price but they charged an additional $400.  I didn't think it was fair since my lines had no problems and looked great.  I was not expecting this additional cost. At the time I couldn't fine their advertisement with all the services included until later. I did not have time (my fault) to do research as to how much these services cost.  They said since they were here anyway why not get the service done now rather than schedule additional service call.

"Work was done professionally. The gentleman had to make several trips to the hardware store to get the correct bulbs, but he did not charge me any extra time for the service."

"When I first called in I had to leave a message, but she got right back to me. He was cheerful, wonderful, he did the work and all the way around really great service. I wish all the people I've had come in my house and do work would do as good a job as they did. He explained everything to me. He was really informative and very good at what he did."

"I can not say enough good things about Precise Home Builders. From the initial meeting to the end result, we could not have been happier with the entire process. We had a major project, gutting and converting a 1920's spanish duplex to a completely new modernized single family home and the Precise team not only delivered within our budget, but also within the 6 month time frame we initially discussed. None of our friends believed we'd get such a big job done within that time frame, but Precise really came through! We passed all permits with ease, never had any surprises, and had fantastic communication during each phase, even the vendors they referred us to were pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Precise Home Builders for any project, big or small."

"I had high hopes for this company after my initial contact with them through Angie's list.  I sent an email and got a response back right away from Tal and then we talked about the scope of work needed over the phone and made an appointment for the following week.  When it came time for the contractor to meet me at my home, he never showed and so I called Tal and she informed me that since they were unable to reach me by phone at work and confirm the appointment that day, even though I had made the appointment less than a week prior, and they cancelled the appointment.  I had provided my cell phone as well which she did call but never left a message.  This was extremely frustrating as I had cancelled a meeting in order to be at my home for the appointment time.  I decided to give them a second chance and rescheduled the appointment.
The second time the contractor did arrive on time and we went over the scope of work together.  My ex arrived towards the end of the walk through (we are working on fixing up our house together so we can sell it).  At this time the contractor started talking primarily to him.  We asked what he thought the general cost of the work would be, a rough estimate and he said he thought it would be anywhere from $8-12K.  He told us that his technician would be in the area the following day and that he could come by and put together an itemized list of the work done and give us a formal quote.
Even though I had called and set up the appointment and had the majority of the communication with the company, the contractor called my ex the following week, not me,  and told him that the technician's quote was for $18-22K!  More than double what he initially thought the cost would be.  I asked my ex to request a written quote for the work so we could see where all of the money was going towards.  We never heard from the contractor again.
I followed up a few weeks later through Angies list email with Tal, the woman who I had made the appointment with to find out when we could expect a written quote and she said she would check and we have not heard a peep since.
Since our dealings with this contractor we have hired another who quoted us $3400 to get all of the work done and who we eventually hired.   I feel like this company just didn't want to do the work for whatever reason and just threw an astronomical price at us hoping that we would just go somewhere else instead of being honest with us and wasting our time.
Lastly, during the course of our interaction I felt the contractor made comments about our personal situation that were inappropriate and it bothered me that he felt more comfortable talking to my ex who is male, rather than myself who was the one managing the project and money.

Just wanted to respond to the provider.   I did give an opportunity to provide service after the initial misunderstanding of the missed appointment.  The primary disappointment was that I never received a written quote or a quote to myself over the phone.  I have not received any calls after the visit to my home to my cell or received any voicemails nor did I receive anything via email regarding the quote or any updates.   The only voice message I received on my work phone was after I posted this review.  The issue was not the price as we were willing to pay what it took to get this project done.  There was just zero follow up.
