"The exposed cedar lap siding on my chimney chase had deteriorated over 35 years and needed to be replaced. After checking online reviews, I got a few bids for the job. Pricing was very similar. I selected Joseph Ketner Construction because Joe responded in a timely manner, came out to look at the chimney, explained in detail what should be done, and returned at a later date to explain his bid personally. I could tell he has a commitment to quality work. To prevent insect and moisture intrusion, Joe recommended changing the way the old siding was attached. When I was ready to start the project, his office manager Petra was in frequent contact. The first work date set was not within my requested time frame, but they moved it up. The day Joe and his crew came, rain was forecast in the afternoon which would not be good for applying two coats of paint on the boards. They agreed to postpone starting until the next day which was to be sunny. Joe had Lakeside Lumber deliver materials including pre-primed tight knot cedar siding, a very close match to my old siding. His crew took my leftover house paint and had an exact match mixed. Armando, Jay and Jerry came the next day and worked diligently. Armando said he has been working with Joe for ten years. I was surprised at how quiet and neat they were. The first coat of paint was applied in the morning to all the pre-primed boards as they lay on the protected driveway. The second coat was applied in the afternoon as the boards were placed on the chimney chase. They used new step flashing between the roof and the chimney and left the recommended gap between the boards and the roof. They also patched and painted a couple of bad spots in barge rafters. They cleaned up meticulously. The chimney chase looks great, and is sealed better than the original. I would definitely hire Joseph Ketner Construction for a future project."

"Very well, the side door and attic pull down I purchased were beyond my ability to install. The side door was originally 32 inches and I bought a 36 inch so framing had to be altered. The attic rafter and one truss had to be reframed and considerable skill was needed to fit it. Their bid included providing a new attic window to illuminate the storage floor area I was adding and locating it. They did an exceptional job. The next door neighbor saw it and asked for a bid. The front garage door horizontal framing member was soft and in removing it as the original bid contempated rot was found into the OSB sheathing above and the edge of the glue lam beam needed to be repaired. The original contract noted extra rot discovered in a repair would be solved at extra cost. I readlly agreed and when the unforeseen rot was exposed they provided a great cost effective repair at very reasonable additional bid including new siding and the missing Z flashing and vapor barrier missing in the original construction of the home that led to this problem. I have asked for a bid to extend the eave to help shield the new side garage door. I found them on Craig's List and their expertise and family friendly service and very fair prices was really proven. I remodeled a house thirty years ago and am semi retired. I was also a career claim adjuster and manager, and have that experience with construction bids. I am also on my condo association board of directors and see a lot of water damage problems and repair bids. I give Gentry Family Construction LLC my highest recommendation."

"Over the winter we had Lifetime Remodeling Systems replace all our siding and all our windows and doors. Our house is not small being 2700+ square feet and while winter isn't the best time for having holes in your house, the guys were quick and professional. The final painting had to be held off until the weather warmed up, but as soon as the sun came back so did they. I had great help in picking our final house colors as well. I was in contact with the main contractor the whole time and the same great group of guys did it all; siding, windows and painting. After 3 different bids, Lifetime was right in the middle but at the end they gave us a top dollar experience."

"Dave painted our house 2 years ago and did an excellent job, so when we needed additional things done we called him and he did excellent work again. The siding work involved removing an outdoor faucet and fitting it around phone and electrical boxes. He replaced deck boards, cleaned and prepped everything, and used an "armor coat" paint that should last a long time. He cleaned and stained the fence in the front and side of the house. He is easy to work with and takes great pride in his work. Cost included all materials and was a great value. I would use him again."

"I called Walt based on Angie's list reviews. I needed the repair done as quickly as possible and he came out the next day. He and his wife arrived on time and were very efficient. The closet is at an angle in the hallway and not an easy place to work. I liked the fact that he came with the needed drywall. I had given him approximate measurements. I will definitely have him come back and do more work for me. I've already talked with him about other work to be done. I was comfortable with Walt and his wife being in my home."

"The crew arrived day one, had to wait for dumpster until about 9:30-10 am. So they did get started right away, but they got all the old roofing removed and started installing new shingles on first day. By early afternoon day 2, they were basically finished and cleaning up. A lot faster than I thought it would be. They cleaned up and were finished in really about a day and 1/2 of time. Great effort much appreciated."
