Our 12 year old water heater sprung up a leak while we were on vacation (somehow water heaters seem to know this). Luckily the leak was minor and we saw the water in the pan when we came back. After doing some research online and checking for leaks around the pipes it was clear that that the leak was from the tank itself and replacing it was the best option given the age of the water heater. After looking at reviews for various water heater companies in Angie's list and calling around for some estimates, we picked Overlake primarily due to the great reviews here. I would like to add my A+ recommendation to the list of reviews here.

Overlake was prompt in response to the initial query. They scheduled me out the next day and were on time and replaced the water heater and the other parts like Rob said they would on the phone. Also cleaned up everything as well just like I would have done it. While at it, they were also kind enough to answer some questions on HVAC system. Towards the end, my extra sensitive nose thought I smelt gas after the installer had packed up all his stuff into the truck and had even started it. He was kind enough to open his truck, get the soap solutions and reapplied them to check and verify that everything was good. A+ work across the board.

End to end time was relatively quick (about 2 weeks) and cheaper than competitive.
