The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. "Work was great. Just bought a 1972 townhouse that needs some serious updating. Michael installed a ceiling fan and light in rooms with no prior wiring, switched a light out with a new fan, replaced a hall light and added electrical outlets to bathrooms that had no outlets, fixed a minor issue with the garbage disposal, installed 2 new smoke detectors and replaced a couple of outlets. Everything is completed on time and will be hiring again as I have a lot more outlets to replace."

"Okay. Howard had some difficulty reading the plan, and requested a week to do the work. We only had three or four days, so his manager said that could only happen if I helped with the work. No problem, I did the layout, and did most of the "tricky" parts of the work, cutting the ribbon boards for the 45 degree angles, so Howard and helper could focus on setting cleats, joists, and putting down decking. Howard was very prompt, but this sort of carpentry was not his forte, some of the decking cuts needed to be redone. I had to do all the railing work myself. He did help me with some plumbing work for the better part of one day, which is work he is better at. We settled on payment of about 2/3 of what his original quote was for the deck, and he showed no interest in doing any further work."
