"I have two Rheem Split systems at my house for heating and cooling. The downstairs A/C system developed a leak. Dowd Heating & Air was recommended to me. I called them on Tuesday morning and they came out that evening and found the leak in the evaporator coil. By nine that evening, they provided pricing for four (4) options to fix my A/C unit from just replacing the evaporator coil to replacing the entire A/C and Heating system. I got pricing the next day from two other A/C contractors, one of which would only provide pricing to replace the entire system. I selected Dowd to replace the evaporator coil and we scheduled the work for 9:00 am on Friday. The arrived on time and did a very good job. The two men that did the work answered all of our questions and were very nice. Was very pleased with the job they did."

When I called and explained the situation I was told they would come and clean the main line. However, when they came to the house, they checked the septic tank first and told me the problem was there. He could easily have cleaned the main line and charged me for the work. In addition to not performing unnecessary work, he also left the septic tank uncovered so that I won't incur an additional cost when I call another company to pump the septic. Honesty in this day and age is truly appreciated."
