"My home needed more functional closet space in the master bedroom, and I wasn't sure how to make it work given the space restrictions. I met with a couple of contractors previously, but was most impressed with DiJulio Contracting. The owner, Scott, came out and walked me through some different options that I had never even considered beforehand. He helped me envision the space and also gave me valuable feedback as to the cost implications for each options. A few days later, they sent me over an estimate with a detailed sketch of the two options I liked best, along with estimates for each. It even included some imagery to help me imagine things more clearly. Their pricing was competitive and I decided to hire DiJulio Contracting as I felt most confident and comfortable with them. I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Their workers were all very courteous, punctual, and most importantly for me, cleaned up each and every day. However, through Angi and based on reviews, I went with Total Renovating. Russell and his crew were awesome. They worked within my budget and immediately hit the ground running. Communication was always easy and I was given advanced notice of when workers/inspectors would be by throughout the entire process. And the work was excellent; no corners cut (figuratively). I have no "before" photos to share so these pics don't show exactly how far this basement's come in the last 5 weeks."

He sent Jose out to look at the front porch portico and when he realized it was a hazard, put his crew on it pronto. The crew were professional, took care to pick up daily and completed the work in a few days. "SM Construction performed a fabulous work transforming a typical house into a unique, modern and spacious living space. The remodeling included changes in the layout, new piping, heated floors installation, tile work, kitchen cabinets custom design and installation, laminate flooring through the house, design and remodeling of master bathroom with plumbing relocation, assistance in design options. Overall, the work was done with excellent quality and great communication with the customer. I would hire SM Construction again!"

"It was ok, although when I contacted Two By Four Construction to schedule the work, I was told to contact the subcontractor directly to work out the best time for the work to be done. The subcontractor who did the work was fine, although the night before the work was to be done, he notified me that he wouldn't be able to start the next day because of work he needed to do for other customers. We rescheduled it for several days later. When I called the day before to confirm that he would arrive the next day (a Friday) he said that he was unable to arrive on Friday (a rush job for a builder) and might not be able to start the following day because getting workers to help on Saturday would be very difficult (it's a three-day job). That was unacceptable so I pressed him and he was ultimately able to get some workers here on Saturday. He finished the job himself on Sunday and Monday and the refinished wood looks ok. He did not charge me for staining and installing the floor molding (which I had purchased) because of the scheduling problems, so all in all it worked out ok, but I would have much preferred to have had the job done when originally scheduled."

"This project turned out exactly how I had envisioned and even better than expected. The overall project was to finish a basement, and remodel our mud room into a new laundry room. On initial meeting, they were very receptive to my vision and ideas (even though I have limited knowledge on remodeling projects). The overall estimate was fair and within my budget, with some room for unexpected changes. Once the project got started, Edwin and his crew went over with me the general concepts of the projects and discussed some design planning ideas. The process was very efficient and Edwin checked in with me at regular intervals during the project to confirm my choices and that the project with going according to plan. The team and Mir were also very accommodating when problems did arise or there were unexpected changes. The overall job came out completed to plan, and very professional. I enjoyed working with them and definitely would hire them again for future home projects. Could not be happier with the result of this project and certainly would recommend them to friends and family."
