Honest, pleasant, capable, good problem solvers, competent electricians (passed county inspection for panel work and charger in a breeze. Added extra work at reasonable cost. Charged the market price for the charger (others tried to gouge, as if it was an unusual request). Hit my price target while others missed wildly (half of where the highest bid came). Otherwise, was competitive in the market. Responded to my specific requirements rather than vague "other work" category. Performed the tasks in a workmanlike manner and were pleasant and easy to work with. DC metro area is unusual in that a contractor can come from DC, Maryland or Virginia, so being confident of insurance, licensing, etc is important - "

"Being a MVP customer was time for Heating/Cooling safety inspections. Kevin Stanley was the HVAC Service Tech assigned to the job. He went over a few issues on our older unit he found during his inspection. I never felt pressured to have the work done and so glad he resolved them on the same day. He definitely went out of his way doing a great job. He explained everything to me that he was doing and also answering all the questions I had. The price was reasonable. Will definitely call Appleton Campbell when needing home repairs, this is our 3rd project they’ve taken care of. Thanks again"

"Courteous, Professional, and Knowledgeable HVAC Installer - Needed to replace a 25+ year old HVAC system in the coldest months of the year and SwiftPro was the right choice. I live in a condo with a tricky indoor/outdoor HVAC set-up. Tyler worked with me to ensure I had the right system that 'fit' in the area left after removing the old system. Workers were completely professional and knowledgeable during installation and dare I say - courteous. Installation was supposed to be same-day, but one part was unavailable at the time. Tyler and his staff hunted across the local area for the part and even sent an employee out to buy a space heater to spare me from the below-20 degree night. Part came in next day and installation was complete. Very satisfied with the outcome of the project."

"I have been a customer for a very long time and this scheduled maintenance and dryer vent cleaning was done by Cesar. I have to say he is one very thorough technician and I was very pleased with his inspection and vent cleaning. His service was so different than some of the ones I've had before. I even had one inspector tell me he didn't need to check in my attic which houses one of our two units. Let me tell you about Cesar, he even cleaned up behind my dryer for me. This is something that is rare in customer service. I have my HVAC seasonally maintenanced and never had a inspector be as thorough as him. The pictures he took and explained to me and the one problem he found that no other inspector had found in all this time. I tried to spare him from the attic heat for the repair and have him return on another day in the morning but he didn't mind going back in there to fix the problem for us although it was in the dead heat of the day. I just hope the company sees this review and knows what a good technician they have in Cesar."

"The logo on one of my many Snell repair receipts says, “Snell . . . The Stand-Up Guys.” Wherever Snell is “standing,” it most assuredly is not behind the products they sell or the services they provide. Snell installed a complete AC system at my house in 2013.* We enjoyed only 3 years of uninterrupted use. After that – and literally thousands of dollars later – I’m told I need an entirely new system. Snell’s handling of the situation has been absolutely miserable. The most basic set of facts are: 2013: $8,400 installation; 2016: $769 repair; 2017: $916 repair; 2017 repair (no charge); 2019: $1,508 repair; 2020: $2,400 repair or $8K+ replacement system needed. At each repair, I was simply told “they just don’t make things like they used to.” They encouraged me to consider replacing the system as early as 2019, i.e., 6 years after they installed it. The compressor they installed in 2019 failed after only 13-months. They shouldered absolutely no responsibility at any point and offered no concessions. The repair prices I quoted above were the result of me calling the manager and demanding accountability. Snell’s game plan in each instance was to blame the product (they recommended), blame the customer (“you haven’t changed your filters” … yes I have, religiously), and always be selling (“you should consider replacing the system”). It’s exactly the type of response you would expect from a company owned by a private equity firm, which Snell now is. The installation was botched from the start (e.g., installing a 4-ton, when I really only needed a 3-ton, etc.) and my conversations with other companies since firing Snell has reinforced this and more. *After studying my receipts to write this review, I see now that I was sold a “20 SEER” AC, although a 17-SEER AC was installed instead. At this point, I’m just disgusted. “They just don’t make things like they used to.” No, they sure don’t, Snell, they sure don’t. If Snell responds to this review they should address (1) when they will refund my $3K+ in faulty repairs, and (2) the discrepancy between my receipt and what was installed."

"My AC failed and I had limited time to find a good solution, I made a phone call to Relax HVAC based on the online reviews and it was a great decision. Nasser came to check the situation, he gave a very detailed and comprehensive overview of the situation and provided with the options I had. I decided to replace the unit, Nasser went above and beyond to find a unit delivery service but there was nothing available over the weekend so this gentleman went for unit pick up himself and finished the installation within a day from my initial call. Moreover, the provided price was very reasonable.I can't be more happy with the outcome and highly recommend Relax HVAC"
