"After contacting Neale a few times by phone, I decided it was best to contact him by email.  Once I emailed, I got an immediate response and a date was set for them to come out and fix my front railing just a few days later.  They arrived within the window indicated and completed the work beautifully within a few hours.  They were extremely pleasant and professional.  The work was fantastic.  Neale provided the best price by far out of the several I received estimates from.  I would highly recommend Baltimore Wrought Fence and Rail."

"mail.We originally contacted the contractor near the end of April since my wife and I wanted to get some stumps removed from our back yard and to replace the fence. We were also wondering if we needed to get the large spruce tree at the front of the house cut down since it was leaning and shedding alot of needles. Ben came out and gave us an estimate for removing the tree, grinding and removing the stumps in the yard, taking down the fence, and grading the sloping back yard, which is what we also wanted.
The quote we received was complete, and stated that it was good for 60 days. Well, work ramped up, and we weren't able to get fence quotes as well as a boundary survey completed until mid to late June after we came back from vacation.At that point, we had decided to leave the tree alone, since we were told it was healthy and not a danger. We also found a fence company we were comfortable working with.
Two days after the 60 days was up, I both telephoned and emailed the company with a revison of the original quote (minus the tree removal)  and said that I hoped that that quote was still good, and that we would like to get the work done within two weeks to coordinate with the fence contractor.
I didn't get any response, so I again left a voice mail.
I understand that it is a small family-owned business, but I would hope that someone would check both email and voice messages at least once a day.  Email is great, but it still doesn't beat the personal touch of a real person's voice on the phone.
I'd still like to hire them, and I know that I let time pass before deciding to hire them, but I would appreciate some contact, please.

"The drywall repair was excellent. I could not ask for more, or better. The patches that needed fixing were extremely large, and you cannot tell that anything was done. If all you need is drywall repair, stop reading now, and hire Kargman's. Our main thoughts were that they did a great job, eventually. They had to come out and fix things twice and that shows great customer service and responsiveness. We just would prefer not having multiple trips. The carpentry ended up being excellent as well, and it was an admittedly tough job getting baseboards attached to brick, and trim along the walls where drywall met the brick. The main issue we had was that there were some sloppy places at first that needed Kargman's to come back out and fix. They were great in doing this, and bent over backwards to come out and do it again, but it would have been better not to have to have anyone come back out. The real issue we had was with the painting. Eventually, it all looks great and the final product is perfect. It's just that they had to come back out and clean up painted over faceplates, trim, and a door. They did eventually get it pretty much right, but it took a while. So again, everything turned out great and looks great, but it's not above average or done on the first try, so we couldn't give an A."

"Steve Hessler was very professional in providing an estimate to replace the front porch.  The crew showed up a little later than expected due to a flat tire.  They finished the job in one day and removed all of the debris.  Yard was left very clean and no damage to landscaping. One minor issue was addressed and corrected within a week.  Overall we are pleased with the outcome.

"Everything went great! Lindsay called promptly after I purchased a deal on here. Once the work was scheduled Joel came out to do the work. He was on time and showed me tons of issues with what needed to be repaired. He gave me detailed information on why it cracked and let me know that it would happen again if not done correctly. He gave me a quote for a new stone walkway and porch that was more than fair having known several people to have the same work done with other companies. I plan on taking them up on the work in the future for sure just coudln't swing it after the holidays. Both Lindsay and Joel provided everyhing I hoped for given the companies great reputation.

I can't say enough about working with MakHome Renovations... they have been amazing to work with and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anybody looking to do remodeling work on their home. I would give them 6 stars if I could. The scope of the work for me is that I'm getting 2 bathroom remodels done. Both bathrooms were taken down all the way to the studs. I'm going to post photos when I get a chance to. Right from the start, I found Art tremendously responsive and great at working with over the phone, text, and e-mails. Meeting with Art and his father, they were always on time and easy to communicate. Without exception, there was no contractor more responsive than Art that I've contacted. Art and his father could not be easier to work with. Throughout the process, they were very willing to work with me on adjustments to the remodeling plans. Believe me, once you rip out the sheetrock and look behind the walls, you'll have to make adjustments. They do not complain and work hard to make sure you are satisfied. Also all of their individual workers were responsible, trustworthy, and easy to deal with. Art works very hard to accommodate your schedule. If you need him to buy things, he'll take care of it. If you can only meet him in the mornings or the evenings, he'll work around your schedule. Lastly, the quality of work was great. they have a very great eye for making sure all the tile is laid down correctly, were meticulous about the installation of hardware, vanities, mirrors, lights, etc...
