"Barbara was phenomenal. A true professional dedicated to her craft and excellent customer service. We had a custom toilet that stopped working, and a leaky faucet in the same bathroom. She reached out right away after requesting a quote through Angi, and she came the same day. At first she told us that the toilet required a part she’d have to order, and after fiddling with the faucet, recommended the 15 year-old fixture be replaced. I offered to purchase it from Home Depot or Lowe’s she agreed to come back to replace the old one and install it in 3 days. After she left, she called me back and asked if she can return because she figured out how she could try to fix the toilet with existing parts she had in her truck. She did it. The toilet is functioning better than it did before the problems began! She then returned 3 days later as promised to replace the bathroom faucet, a complicated project because of the cabinet structure that she stuck with and skillfully completed. On a personal note. We bonded once I asked about the name of the company, which her father, who founded the company, named after his Navy ship. My dad also served in the Navy. Barbara kept me regularly posted about when she’d arrive and the progress of the work. She was true to her word. I’d gladly paid her for her excellent work."

"I found Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc. using Angie's List and I selected them because they were rated highly and were nearby. Jay did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was extremely professional throughout the entire repair. He even brought his own doormat to wipe his shoes on before entering the house. He provided estimates before starting the repairs and made sure I clearly understood what repairs needed to be done. Originally, we thought only one pipe (coming out of the house) needed to be replaced that fed the sprinkler system, but Jay discovered that the vacuum breaker had also cracked. Since he didn't have that part on his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store that was a little farther away to buy a good quality part rather than to a big box store. He returned promptly and replaced the broken vacuum breaker carefully. Throughout the entire repair, Jay was willing to answer all of my many questions, and he explained each part of the process as he was doing it. He checked both the toilet and the pipe feeding the sprinkler for leaks when he had finished the repair and made sure everything was working properly. I even observed that Jay kept a very clean and neat truck with everything labeled clearly so it could be found easily. Also, when I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone, who was extremely polite, suggested that I take the first appointment in the day so there would be no waiting. I admire those who clearly take pride in their work and who complete their work carefully and competently. I would highly recommend Jay as a service technician as well as Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc."

Anthony responded immediately, said he'd be over in an hour to an hour and a half (which he was) and he and his assistant Eric promptly and expertly replaced all the pipes after consulting with us to describe the problem (the other pipes had also deteriorated over the years and were ready to sprout leaks as well, something I had also noticed when examining the first leaky pipe). Finding an honest plumber is rare - finding one who's skilled, courteous and cost-effective is nearly impossible; but Anthony is all of these things. "They proved to be the best of the best. Very professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and hard working. We loved them, are very impressed with them and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Exceptional work. The job entailed replacing the bathroom vanity. While some others from this list either quoted a price for the work over the phone without even seeing the job, only one other contractor came and provided a quote. However Elite Piping was significantly different, as they pointed out that due to age, there may be problems with the pipes leading to the sink and the job could be move complicated, which it turned out to be. We told them we had picked out a vanity, but upon removal of the old unit, they told us that the one we chose would not be practical and suggested anther style.. They even took us to the supplier, picked up and delivered the new vanity and necessary accessories. No one has ever done that. They finished the job same day. By what they did , the ended up saving us a lot of money."

Since the wall had to be opened, they replaced wall tiles from extras I had and did a good job. All I had to do was apply grout at my own time. I would hire them again."
