"We were impressed with Jason’s presentation of the Mitsubishi system, and we really appreciated learning about the HERO program from him. We got a good estimate, ate for the work but were planning to do our roof repair first with adding solar and thought we would do this job after. Things worked out with that Jason got our work scheduled and done BEFORE the roof/solar which worked out because in Sept/Oct we still had some hot days, Thie crew was professional and extremely hard working, and poor guys, in hot weather, sweating in our attic/crawl space. Which they left with improvements! The system was up and running (2 downstairs units, 4 upstairs) in 6 working days. After a week we did have a problem, nothing worked and they came out promptly to troubleshoot, ordered new circuit board and installed as soon as it arrived. Been running fine since then, and this is also heating so I am looking forward to heating with solar instead of gas."
Using the sewer camera to inspect the inside of a customer's drains
Camera inspection through a sewer vent on a customer's roof
Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

"I got on Angie's list and called a few plumbers. Anderson and Fullers. Anderson returned my call and came out to give me an estimate.  The service tech was very nice, polite and professional.  He looked things over and told me he would get back to me as he needed to ask fellow associates some questions before he could give me a quote.  The next morning Anderson plumbing called and gave me my estimate, $2,300 but If I join a club? for $90 they would lower the price to $1,900.  Fuller called me later and gave me a quote of $250.  OK, now I know something is up with the quote's being that far a part. I had a 3rd plumber that called and was going to stop by but never showed up.  He was a friend of Jimmy B Quick.  I had called them but they were short a man and very busy so they were up front and honest.  They said they couldn't make it as they were busy and a man down for the week.  They did refer me to this other plumber who didn't show.  Not their bad that the other guy didn't show.  I decided to go with Fullers Plumbing knowing full well <br /> the price would have to increase due to the location of the leak. Fullers came out and looked it over.  They told me the price would <br /> triple due to the labor involved in cutting up the brick and digging down to the pipe.  I agreed and still went with them.  $650 vs. $1,900. Fuller came out right on time and got right to work.  They had the job fixed in just over 2 hrs. Both workers were very polite, courteous, professional and represented Fullers plumbing with class.  I ended up paying just over $500. I was always curious how Anderson came up with $1,900?  I'm glad I got more than one estimate.  Fullers has a customer for life ! <br />"

"Dan was amazingly professional from the moment I called to the moment he showed up and till we completed the transaction. I initially called to get a price quote and was upfront about calling other companies as well, which he was totally fine with. Not surprisingly, Dan did quote the lowest, but I also chose Dan based on his demeanor over the phone. When he arrived, it took him less than 30 minutes to fix the problem but he talked me thru everything he was doing and helped me understand toilet basics. Fantastic, local, independently owned business!"

"Using MasterServ is a perfect example of the pros and cons of using a big company. They were able to offer a lower price (by several hundred dollars) than other estimates I received because they specialize in volume (and not necessarily quality). The estimator who came was extremely pleasant and professional, however, internal communication in this company is a disaster. Therefore, small details like getting a new shower valve installed and installign new shower heads were initially overlooked by the installers because this wasn't communicated between the estimator and the crew. I never met the so-called project manager, who should have been there the first day to make sure everyone was on the same page about what was to be done. It was explained to me by the estimator that it would be a two-day job (true). The first day, the crew showed up and spent about two hours cutting holes in the walls and prepping the house. The second day they were there from 7 AM until 830 at night, working like crazy to get it done that day -- very stressful. When I saw that they hadn't installed the new shower valve, I got some grief from the crew and the so-called project manager over the phone, and this was eventually rectified with me paying an extra $200 to have the crew come back for an hour or so to install. When the job was complete they had disconnected and capped some old galvanized pipes, but with the new water pressure they blew out a couple weeks later (because they make their money by moving fast, quality and client communication suffer!). The guy they sent to do the drywall patching was a total incompetent. He showed up a couple days after the plumbing work was done started work and left mid-day saying he'd be back the next day to finish, though he never did return. I called the so-called project manager who was surprised to hear that the job wasn't done and it took a few more days for them to schedule a new guy to come out who had to re-do everything because the first guy was incompetent. In the final analysis, this company was the cheapest alternative, but there were a lot of headaches -- stay on top of them and make sure they do the work correctly!"

"Todd made time to help me out of a jam when I had cabinet folks waiting for water line disconnect, but inline handles were old, corroded, and frozen. Todd arrived in 30 minutes and made quick work of the valves leaving no mess behind."

"It went very well. Larry arrived to do the work just outside the appointment window, however he called within the appointment window to tell me that he would be late. Totally acceptable. Traffic is what it is and sometimes a prior job will take a while longer to complete. Larry is very professional and at the same time easy to talk with. A good combination. He listened to my story and asked good questions. I watched as he diagnosed the water hammer problem and asked questions as he worked. He never was bothered by my questions and gave good answers. I really appreciated that. He showed me that the toilet fill valve was a cause for the water hammer problem. Earlier, he ruled out the water heater which can contribute to water hammer. He replaced the angle stop, water supply line and the toilet fill valve. He explained how to adjust the fill valve if needed. Well, this solved the water hammer issue. It is one day later and there still is no water hammer problem. What a relief that is."

"<p>Gary Bracher came out in the summer and measured the fireplace and gave me an estimate of the work to be done and the cost. I called Gary a couple of weeks ago and informed him that I would like to proceed with the work we had discussed. He gave me a date he could start the work and we agreed regarding the start date and price quoted.</p> <p>Gary is a professional and very meticulous regarding his work. He made sure that protective sheeting was placed on the floor from the entryway to the fireplace. He did the cutting of the brick in the driveway and all went as planned except the original gas pipe had to be replaced and the bottom brick had to be brought in from LA. He took care of everything in a timely manner and completed the job ahead of schedule. Gary cleaned all the glass door surfaces that were stained from years of wood fires. The fireplace looks great and definitely heats the room!</p> <br />"

"I want to give this company 6 stars if I could. They are professional and being helpful to solve my drain problem. Because the sewer problem was not something we can fix, It was sitting underneath the utility boxes. While I was so worry, the technician offered to file a city report for me and they did all the follow up. (I didn't know the city would get involved). Luckily, the city fixed the pipe and I have one thing less to worry about. It is my blessing to find this plumbing co.. Linda was patient to listen to my initial call. The technician Enrique was very professional. He explained to me what the problem was and made sure everything ok before he left. It was late in evening but he was not rush to leave. I highly recommend this company."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Ranchita, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
