"I have a small kitchen galley in an old house and needed new lower cabinets, sink, and countertop when the old sink deteriorated unexpectedly.  Originally, I thought I just needed new faucets - this morphed into needing a new sink and the job ended up being new sink-base cabs, countertop and sink.  This all developed over several months as I got various estimates.  I had originally hired Rick to do new faucets but it became apparent that more work was necessary.  Rick was patient and flexible and I hired him to do all the plumbing work. 
He responded promptly, came over right away to do the estimates, he communicated clearly. 
The work was done in two phases.  First phase was pre-demolition and 2nd phase was after renovation was complete. 
In Phase One, he replaced deteriorating pipe in the basement and disconnected and capped off the kitchen sink and DW.  He replaced the old kitchen steam radiator with a new one. 
In Phase Two, after the new cabinets and countertop were installed, he came back and put in the new sink, installed new shut-offs under the sink and in the basement, and re-connected all the kitchen plumbing including the DW.  He also replaced the bathtub spigot and turn knob.
I had run into problems with the carpentry work and Rick came over to see what the issues were.  The problems with the carpenter resulted in a very long lag time between phases.  Rick was flexible and understanding.
I had a small budget for this unplanned project and Rick didn't try to talk me into anything fancy or unnecessary.  He did good work, arrived on time, and responded to phone calls.  He's a decent guy.  I recommend him highly.
