"The installers worked diligently, quickly and the result was a beautiful shower. I needed a little more guidance in planning what materials I needed to get for the project. The employees at Home Depot were very helpful to me in this regard."

"We contacted them and they repaired the hole and also put in a drain tile.  There was a question about whether there was another source of water leak and they came back to test the integrity of our foundation and found that everything was ok.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Sometimes there was a delay in getting a call back from them and a delay in having them come to do the work.  When they did come, the work was done well."

"We had a leak in our basement that ended up being from our water softener, not from the outside, so we did not have Badger Basement perform services for us. However, they sent us a complimentary packet of information about water in the basement, and they were very nice to talk to on the phone. Ron called to confirm the appt. the night before, and arrived on time. He quickly assessed the problem, and even though we did not end up needing their services, he gave me a lot of great advice, and even followed up with a phone call to talk about a few things he thought of on his drive home. I did show him a spot in the basement where did have a minor leak from the outside and he quickly gave me a rough estimate. It was a very small leak and it only happened once during an extremely heavy rain, so we will not be addressing it at this time. But I know I will be calling them if it ever needs to be addressed. Very nice, very professional. We will absolutely work with them in the future, if needed."

"Brian completely removed all the inventory, removed the carpet, did extensive drywall repair that was caused by water damage from a leaking roof, he helped remove all the old florescent lightning fixtures (over 100 in all). Once the demolition was complete he put a full faux 3 coat finish on all the interior walls, installed a copper tin ceiling, 7 high efficiency antique light fixtures (the center fixture is over 5 feet in diameter with over 20 bulbs and 3 feet long, made 3,custom window shelves, installed 12 sheets of slate wall paneling for displaying merchandise, ran new wire to the light fixture, painted the trey ceiling with high metallic rustoleum paint using three different colors, and oversaw the installation of the carpet. His work was done extremely professionally in less than 6 weeks. His attention to detail is second to none. He worked everyday in order to get the job done in a timely manner so we could reopen the store as soon as possible. I would highly recommend him for any work relating to general carpentry and painting. You will not be disappointed in hiring him and he guarantees your personal satisfaction <br />"

"I hired D & S to build a deck at my Dad's home in WI.  I live in MN so we had a bit of a long distance situation.  Because I wasn't there on site, Doug provided progress pictures along the way to make sure I was happy with the deck.  He is very honest and I felt I was able to trust his decisions. The deck was completed within a week and looks beautiful!    I would definitely hire him again for any future projects I have.  Great company to work with."

"I highly recommend them to others. Their prices for the cabinets were second to none. Their timing and coordination was great. They acted the general contractors for electricians, plumbers, and floor and tile people. They made sure that everything was done to the highest quality. They were on budget. I can't believe that we finally have such a beautiful kitchen. They are high recommended."

"<p>Andy is punctual, always answers his phone, simply the best carpenter I?ve worked with. He is accurate and proficient, he critiques the jobs and his work. He built a workshop for me and I wish the trim work in my house was as good as his trim work in my workshop. Andy also works a full day, which is rare in a contractor these days. </p>"

"This is the second time I have had Schoeneck do home repair. I think the company is top-notch. Schoeneck sided my house in 2011and in July, 2012, Schoeneck put a new roof on my garage along with new siding. The workers are definitely professional; they seem to take great pride in their expertise and the finished job shows it. The workers are prompt and they take their schedule very seriously, to say the least. I will, with no hesitation, contact this company anytime I need work done on my home."

"Initial planning was started Gaffney Construction had very detailed plans drawn up showing the project was capable of fitting into the required space available and meet all building and structural requirements. Sub contractors were brought in and quotes were submitted, all prices were within the financial guidelines I had set. Gaffney Construction went to the village and applied for a building permit. Problems arose when it was discovered my property was in a flood zone, Gaffney construction got all needed information together and came up with a plan that met with construction and flood zone guidelines and got the project approved. Construction began on the initial date that was set. All work was done in a safe and professional way. A few unforeseen problems did come up and were taken care of meeting all construction guidelines. The work was completed in just 5 construction days a day early. The addition to our room came up looking like it was always there. Excellent work!!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Rhinelander, WI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
