"This job was scheduled to take two days to complete.  The crew started work on 2/27/12 at 3:00pm and finished around 5:30pm but promised to start the next day at 9:00 or 9:30am.  On 2/28/12 the crew started at 11:30am but stated the job would be completed at the end of the day.  The crew stopped working at 4:15pm and the job was not completed. No work could be performed on 2/29/12  because it rained all day.  The job was completed on 3/1/12.  I was pleased with the finished product but I was very disappointed with the  responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism that the crew exhibited.  Chris is a professional businessman  and I enjoyed his presentation.  I gave him the job based on favorable comments from a prior customer on Angie's list.  Unfortunately Chris was not doing the work, his crew did not share the same professionalism."

"I cannot say enough good things about Add-a-Deck! We had them tear down an existing deck and build a new screened porch. We first met with Chris who was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He made sure to listen to everything we wanted and talked us through all of our different options. He then promptly followed up within the timeframe he said with a computer rendering of our new porch. He was very patient and timely with all of the changes we wanted to make, creating several different renderings so I could visualize the final product. They got started demoing a few short weeks after signing a contract, and the crew did a great job! They were friendly, polite, timely, and worked quickly but without skipping any corners. "Dennis was great. We have a problem with a very poorly designed culvert under our driveway that clogs with leaves multiple times every fall and winter, often eroding the driveway. He met with VDOT to see what options there might be for a bigger pipe or a double pipe. In the end we decided to build-up the driveway so that the water flowed back toward the street and across the driveway (rather then down the driveway). He was attentive to detail and gave us several choices of stone. We now have a new driveway that is graded properly. The price was reasonable for the work involved. I would definitely use him again."
