He made videos of every stage of the fence repair, explaining what need to be done and the results of the finished work. He gave an estimate of every part of the total repair job including materials needed. Dana is also very conscious of the money it costs his clients. "It's been so frustrating finding quality home repair professionals. I had a leak develop in my roof that went into my second bedroom. I called a total of 22 roofing companies. Some never called back, some were too busy, some agreed to call me back but never did, others agreed to show up and never did or wanted to charge $150 service fee for an estimate. Luckily, I found this company. Not only did the owner answer the phone and was professional and friendly, he came out the next day AND WAS ON TIME!! He listened to my concerns and immediately examined my roof. He explained everything to me as to what happened and why. Gave me a reasonable quote and said he'd be to my house Tuesday. Lo and behold, he came a day early and repaired my roof. He advised, after I asked , to give it a couple really hard rains before repairing my interior. Well, I've been through two heavy soaking rains, and just had a three inch rain from a tropical storm. My roof is officially fixed! I am so happy that I've found this company. I will be hiring them again to do drywall repair and whatever else I need. I've already shared this company's information with all of my local friends that are looking for estimates. Professional and gets the work done!!"

"Overall, a very good experience.  I purchased two hours of carpentry work for $69 from a 'big deal' ad from Bob's Odd Jobs.  Bob immediately replied upon payment and said he would contact me shortly to schedule an appoitment.  After not hearing from Bob for a week, I reached back out to him. He replied immediately and said that he had been having computer issues.  Anyway, we scheduled an appointment for a week out.  Bob arrived several minutes EARLY and was apologetic.  This was not a problem, and I led Bob to the troublesome pocket door.  Bob carefully removed the necessary door frame parts, then wrestled with getting the door out.  The replacement hardware I had purchased prior to Bob's arrival was not exactly the same as the original, which presented some problems.  (Try finding pocket door hardware at Lowes and HD; very limited selection.)  Bob worked diligently and creatively to eventually get the door hardware replaced and back on track, and the door frame back in place.  The entire job took quite a bit longer that I would have hoped - 4 hours.  At the two hour mark, I asked Bob about his 'overtime' rate and he completed the work for the same $35/hour rate I got from the 'big deal', so a total of $169.  But the work was done right, Bob cleaned up after himself, and he made sure to ask if I was satisfied with everything before he left.  I would not hesitate to use Bob again for handyman jobs around my house.
