"Adam, the service technician was courteous, thorough and very professional. He explained what he was doing, and his expectations. He did a great job on clearing the clog in my kitchen garbage disposal/sink, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I would definitely recommend and hire him again!"

"Service was OK, though they got confused about the scheduling and location. Sorted that out easily.
The tech was prompt and thorough.
The tub looked like it had a disease when he started and when he finished, it looked gorgeous.
But.
Now only five weeks later and it is obvious that this job was not successful. Our house is under renovation and there is a lot of dust (not at the time they did the job). So our feet are often rather dusty when we get in the shower. About a week ago, I noticed that there were big blotches of brown dust remaining on the tub after we showered. I just washed the tub - Bon Ami, as always, and carefully felt the entire surface of the tub with my hand. It is rather rough - not smooth at all. It feels like a tub that has started to wear - which usually takes years to start. It is obvious it is going to continue to trap dirt and look grimy. I am about to call the company to ask them to come out to look at it and re-do it.

Update 7/23: Owner came out to examine tub. Called at 15 minutes past scheduled time to say she would be a few minutes late. Possibly arriving at 10:45 (which would not be a few minutes, but 45 minutes past scheduled time). Actually arrived at 11:15. Examined tub and said it needed sanding and polishing and she'd have her office staff call me to schedule. Well, of course, I waited until 12:30 the following day (today) and no one had called so I called them. They said that the owner never told them to call me. They can't send anyone until August 5. Further, they were apparently supposed to have given me a maintenance guidelines (they didn't) and supposedly the care sheet would have said to use only Fantastic or 409 to clean the tub. Not Bon Ami, which they claim will dull the finish. I don't really care about shininess but I do want to be able to clean my tub and right now, I can't do that because it has a gritty finish.

Final update: tech came out (by the way - the promptness rating is for the techs, not the owner, who, as above, was very late and then never followed up) and took one look and said there was nothing he could do - that the grittiness was due to the underlying surface of the tub and not the new finish. Great. Wonderful. Too bad they didn't bother to mention this when they came out to do the job.

Will be contacting another company for a second opinion. This company wasted my time and money."

"Edmund is my hero! Showered in the morning to find the faucet had broken and the water would not turn off.  After turning off the main water to the house, I attempted to repair myself. I knew what needed to be done, but got stuck at a certain point and did not want to cause any damage.  Called Crown Plumber and Edmund told me he was nearby and could come right out.  He fixed the faucet, replaced the handle, and showed me where I went wrong in my repair attempt.  He was professional and charged me what he quoted on the phone. The repair looks great and the shower is working better than ever.  From the time I called Crown Plumber to the time Edmund left was under an hour.  I am very pleased and highly recommend Edmund and Crown Plumber."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Rock-point, MD

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
