"Marsh contracting came in and took our 50+ year old bathroom and made it into a great, functional space. I wish I could explain the awfulness of the "before" situation they were facing. Tile and plaster 3 inches thick; square, heavy bathtub that need to be removed; galvanized steel pipes with years of corrosion blocking water flow. They had great suggestions for improvements and helped us stay within our budget while still taking care of the things that needed to be done. They were prompt and worked quickly; the only hiccup was on our side with a delivery issue, and they were able to work around it and keep the project rolling. Bob and his team were upfront with us on everything, and I felt that I had a clear idea of how the project was moving along, next steps, and the timeline for completion. "We asked for a different contractor early into our project and we were told no because the owner already paid the contractor they sent us. The contractor they sent blocked our ductwork work with a piece of wood and tin foil then filled it in with floor level. Now only 1 side of our house cools off when the air is on. It gets so cold it's unbearable the other side stays warm. When the furnace is on parts of our floor gets so hot we can barely walk on it. Our dishwasher only had cold available to hook up to because they hooked up our garden hose to the hot water coming directly from our hot water tank. They never hooked up our dishwasher and they new it needed to be framed in too. Our new shower drain still drains very slowly and they disconnected our garden hose on the west side under our new shower. The tiles are not flush and some have chips, scratches. Our toilet was so unlevel it rocked. It was over 3/4 of a inch off."
