"Everything went well. Vanguard is very good at returning calls and keeping in touch by email. I supplied photos of the parts I had bought (bathroom faucet cartridges) as well as info on the style of shower mixer that needed to be fixed (mixer ran too hot). Vanguard gave me a detailed estimate of work involved and an estimate of cost. Work was done efficiently and cleanly. Vanguard pointed out that we should strongly consider replacing the pipes under the sink in the master bath as well as in the kitchen as they were corroded and likely to leak soon. We were also advised to contact our kitchen faucet manufacturer because Vanguard believed the faucet was faulty and it might be a waste of his time and our money to try to repair it. It was only a couple of years old and leaked and no longer swiveled properly. We did so and got a new faucet. We scheduled follow up work with Vanguard once the new faucet was received and that work will be separately reviewed"

"Week before last we thought we had a clogged toilet.. It was apparently the main sewer line. We called a commercial franchise plumber out and $550 later we thought everything was fixed. This was on a Thursday. By the following Monday we were experiencing the same thing. We call them back out because it was a 6 month warranty. They diagnosed the issue stating we needed to get the main sewer line ( about 1-3 feet) replaced and they would need to dig a huge hole in the basement and etc.. Estimate was more than a small car. I called around to a few other companies and got more expensive quotes. I called A1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer Services - Plumbing Contractor & Plumbing Installation and he came out the same night ( last tuesday) and gave me a resonable quote for the same services. When I tell you I am so glad I called this man. My house is 70 years old and my family has lived here for 26 years. This sewer line was CLOGGED... his team dug the hole, replaced the pipes, cleaned them out and discovered tree roots and 4 feet of stuff that shall not be named. He & his team installed a cleanout in case this happened again we wouldn't have an issue getting it cleaned. This company hands down had excellent service and the owner was respectful, nice and delivered what he promised plus a 10 year warranty ."

"Inspect and assess the situation, showed my husband on how to turn on and off the water supply on our water heater, and they will come back to cut the old pipe that we have and replace it with copper piping. We had our water working in under an hour (on a Saturday evening!) and he charged a very fair price given the demands upon his time. He left our house at 5pm, his phone blowing up from other customers. I asked if he was going to have an end to the day soon, but he said he still had hours to go...he had promised other worried homeowners that he would help them today. "It was a rainy weekend…We had rapid leaking from the pipes in our basement ceiling (discovered over the weekend). We had called or regular company and other plumbers/services and all “took a message” or flat out said they were not available. Sunday morning I decided to try one more time. Rob answered the phone himself and offered to come over later in the day. He called back to let me know the exact time of his arrival. I didn’t know the source of the water so we weren’t doing laundry or dishes. Rob arrived and quickly located the source of the water and repaired the problem. We were expecting to pay $$$ because it was a Sunday emergency call.
