"Highly recommend Arms Home Improvement. Had a small kitchen fire - several cabinets were burned, drywall was damaged, and soot went everywhere. Mr. Metcalf was the only contractor willing to try and repair the cabinets versus buying all new kitchen cabinets. Not only were the damaged cabinets repaired, they look better than before. The attention to detail by Mr. Metcalf and Jeff was outstanding. In the process of repairing the kitchen they also encountered unforeseen electrical issues. Everything was fixed with care and the kitchen looks amazing. Mr. Metcalf and Jeff are excellent contractors, with an equally excellent work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. My appointment was delayed a few days due to circumstances beyond their control, and they worked with me to reschedule the work on a day that would work for me. I would definitely hire them again."

He advised me of concerns I'd not before taken into mind with respect of the movement of furniture, electricity and cable access. He did beautiful work; there was negligible sawdust eventhough there was much carpentry to be done. The finishing touches (e.g., wall plate, cable, ceiling restoration) were perfect eventhough I'd never even considered it. I felt more than comfortable having Carlos in my home even when I was not there. He was beyond communicative; there was never a moment of doubt, even when he phoned me at the office to let me know my house's front door was WIDE open upon his arrival due to my daughter's forgotten "responsibility".. "Everything went great. It's hard to believe that from the moment I contacted the company until the doors had been installed, absolutely everyone I dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, polite, etc. etc. - I could go on and on. I've had so many bad, truly nightmarish, experiences with different home contractor companies over the past couple of years, that I've just come to expect that they are all mostly incompetent, that there are going to be issues, and that it is going to take a lot of complaining to the management, and a lot of return visits to get anything even partially done correctly. I didn't think companies with completely professional and competent people who care about the work they do, still existed. And so it is really incredible that there is actually a company out there like Hodges. Mark Russow, their president, is obviously doing something right. Brian Whitehouse, my salesman, was wonderful. He was so good, not pushy, he was responsive, and knew the product inside and out. And Wayne Bond and Wayne's assistant installer (I wish I had gotten his name because he was so great also) were both so fantastic that I would rate them an A+++++ if I could. I am so impressed with this company and highly recommend them. I'm going to be buying new french patio doors next and would not even think of going to another company. This was just an incredible company to deal with!"

"After meeting with salesman I felt that the price was reasonable and the door met my needs. After measuring the parts were ordered in late November 2017 with materials expected to be received on the 18th of December. I realized this was close to holidays and winter season but was advised that this would not be an issue. After no response I followed up on the 20th of December and scheduled installation. Installation of door seemed to go well and I like how door looks, however after the fact I noticed screws and a lot of debris left by installer outside my house. I cleared most of it away but some still remains. Additionally I did notice that the weather stripping does not have complete coverage and I can see light peaking thru at the bottom of my door. The installer also advised me that a part fell inside the frame of storm door and someone had to come and get a new part to replace it. I was told on 26 January that this part came in but they are waiting for someone to come and take a look at it. It is now the 8th of March and I've still received no response after following up twice. I had intended on discussing my issues once receiving a response about the part but have now decided to document this experience as I would like to get this resolved."
