"I put a 12' x 33' concrete slab at the back of my house in preparation for a sunroom and then got visits and bids from several installers in the Austin area. In a previous house some years ago I had had a moderately unpleasant experience with a nationally known sunroom installer because of leaks and maintenance and, this time, made careful plans in advance. I considered a wood framed structure but the cost would have been 1.5 - 2.5 time more. I chose Lone Star Patio. They installed a beautiful aluminum sunroom over the slab (11 windows + a cabana door) with electrical outlets/fan/light. Peter Garcia, the owner, had a personal hand in almost everything that got done. He is easy to communicate with and responds promptly to texts, emails and phone calls. The person who manually did the installation, Sean, is a perfectionist (and also a really nice fellow). The electricians - subcontractors - were so good that I will call them myself if I need electrical work. Peter knows how to choose good workers. There were some significant delays but these were due to weather and matters beyond Lone Star Patio's control. There is a 5 year labor warranty from Lone Star Patio + longer materials warranties from Norandex (for the windows) and PGT (for the door). Overall, we are very happy with results and I trust the company to provide maintenance, if it's needed during the warranty periods."

"Robert came very quickly to give a quote.  The crew arrived on time and worked hard for three days to complete the job and returned later for one day to complete detailing.  We've contacted several contractors in the past to work on our 100 year old house and they either never returned calls or worked very inconsistantly, not completing all contracted work or cutting material quality.  Associated is absolutely awesome......very professional, conscientious, hard working.  They were able to understand what I wanted done...which was an unusual job...and were the type of people you enjoy meeting and working with.  We actually missed them when they left.  We highly recommend

Dream Renovations and the owner, Cane Caldwell.
 
These people came into my
home to create a bathroom out of a mess. 
We had to completely gut the bath that contained an old garden tub and
really bad cabinets.  After clearing the
mess Dream Renovations began to build a beautiful walk in shower and bath area
with everything we desired.  They
constructed a linen closet, new cabinets, stripped off old wall paper and did
interior design as well as construction. 
The owner, Cane Caldwell is
basically an artist with a sense of perfection. If you are like me and do not
see a finished product with construction, you can rest in Cane?s ability to do
so.  If there is something along the way
that you want to change they are very accommodating with that also.  Let me just say that I have a dream new bath.
I also want to comment on the
character of Mr. Caldwell who has a sense of responsibility and integrity.  He did everything we ask while doing his best
to keep to the time we requested. 
Renovations can be hard to predict since there is always the possibility
of the unexpected.  We sailed through a
couple of those with a great attitude and sense of responsibility from this
business.

"Two of them came out. There was a long list and we were happy to pay more, but I was not pleased when I got home. I wanted the caulking in the shower redone and they did not get to that. There is a gate in a storage thing out in the side yard and the door needed patching. I just did not like coming home. I felt like they rushed and just did not get it all done or even attempted to get it done. The price was not the issue. I just wanted those things done. With two of them here, I felt like they could have done more."

"I was skeptical at first not knowing Green Leaf Air other than the reviews I read on Angie's List and a couple were not very good. However, I can't say enough good things on how responsive and professional Rick was in providing a timely and professional detailed proposal. After contacting a total of 5 contractors (including 3 large well-known DFW HVAC contractors), Rick provided the most competitively priced proposal for a 4 Ton 16 SEER Trane system. Actually changed out complete heating and AC system for the price others quoted just to change the condenser and evaporator. Saved me at least $2K! What surprised me was the vague written proposals I received from the big name contractors. Basically a single line statement with a price... Rick's quote specified every part/component (including model #) for the HVAC changeout so there was no question on the scope of work. The installers from Green Leaf Air arrived promptly on time the next morning. Was given a time window of 9:30 to 10:00 AM and they arrived at 9:50 AM. The two man team were focused on their work and worked continuously throughout the day to complete the installation. They finished with a very thorough clean-up in the attic, hallway, and outside and were done at 3:30 PM. It was a great experience to deal with a company that was completely transparent with their pricing and performed the exact services they stated they would without any surprise add-on's."

"Dean was very reponsive prior to installation.  Install went very well and I am happy with installation, crew worked very quickly and were able to complete in one day.  Received a 5 year warrenty on workmanship.
My problem with this installation was getting the warranty on the shingles.  Shingles were to have a lifetime warranty and after job was done I received no warranty on the shingles or no proof of purchase.  Receipt said New Roof and nothing about the brand of shingles that were installed so I was concerned about how I could claim against the warranty if I had no proof of purchase or anything verifying what shingles were installed.  I attempted to contact Dean numberous times by phone and email after the installation but he never responded.  I was able to figure out how to register for the warranty on line with the shingle manufacturer, but I am still concerned that I really don't have any proof of purchase for the shingles.
