"Danny changed the lights in our entire basement from fluorescent to LED. He did a wonderfully professional job. He was always on time and seemed to work very quickly. When I asked, he gave us advice that was very helpful about the lighting in other areas in our basement. He went out of his way to order and pick up the supplies that were needed. He even came out on a Sunday to install some of the bulbs when they came in the mail. He happened to be in the area visiting relatives and stopped by to do this. I also asked him about other electrical problems we had been having in the house. He checked things out and gave me an honest answer about what could and/or should be fixed and the best way to get it done, which did not necessarily include his own services. Danny really went above and beyond what he needed to do. His fees were very reasonable compared to others."

"They were very responsive, the technician was very friendly.  BUT - the coupon offered on Angie's web site is useless, unless you are in Indiana.  What good is that?  I'm in Texas.  The technician said he had a coupon good for $20, which he brought with him - and applied to my bill.  High marks for them, and (once again) lousy marks for Angie's List.  At least the recommended providers on Angie's List seem to be accurate - the work was done well, efficiently, and was exactly what I wanted.  The technician even pointed out an issue with what i wanted to do - a technical problem involving a switch to a socket when i needed half the socket to remain hot - we resolved exactly what i needed, and the job was done well. <br>"

"Keil was great they were available the day after I spoke to them, electrician was super nice and friendly. They did a great job, even doing an additional motion switch required now by San Diego city. Would highly recommend them."

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Round Rock, TX

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
