They hauled out trash & muck from the crawlspace, leveled it, did mold abatement, installed two new sump pumps, dug new drainage inside and outside, insulated the foundation walls, installed a permanent dehumidifier, and encapsulated the entire crawl space. "We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. "Our 15yrs old tank had burner issues and I asked the job to NGU Drain Cleaning for a service. After discussion with Jay, We decided to go from tank to tankless water heater. The installation is complicated and required much more materials than tank heater. However Jay has a great knowledge and experiences to complete the very professional job. Price is about half of the large companies. So far the product is great and family is happy about the performance."

I called and was able to speak to someone right away about scheduling the appointment. I was able to schedule the appt. for a few days later when I had the day off. I received a call the day before indicating when the technician was going to arrive, and he arrived during the window of time they provided.

The technician checked the a/c system inside and out, and he cleaned the exterior of the unit with the hose where I had missed it when cleaning. He also provided a lot of information about furnaces because I plan to have a new one installed before Winter. He was very knowledgeable about the differences between the different units, and he didn't try to sell me on any particular one.

The technician (I think his name was Chris) was very polite and professional. He said that he is currently going to college for heating and cooling, so I expect he will only become more knowledgeable as he progresses.
