"We had a total remodel of our kitchen with removal of walls and basically everything gutted down to the studs. Jim work with us through the initial design of the kitchen all the way through the final walk through. Our kitchen is FANTASTIC! Jim was able to provide valuable insight throughout the process and guided us through all of the key decisions on layout and construction plans. When challenges came up or unexpected repairs were needed, Jim explained the approach and got everything set up perfectly. "Initial estimate was 5-8 days, but we were going in blind because the siding was not yet removed. After removal, we discovered all the remaining issues. The estimate went up as we made change orders but all the estimates were reasonable. The time eventually extended to about 3 weeks but the amount of work was definitely high. The guys made sure to clean up the rubble and messes they made every day. While having the paint stripper in the front was inconvenient, Pat stayed late to clean up and make sure we were able to get in and out of the house no problem. The pointing job looked great, and all cracked and broken bricks were repaired well. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors about how much better the house looks now. Pat and Ryan are great masons and will do everything relating to masonry and stone. They are very straightforward about not doing carpentry or electrical systems, so if that's a part of the job, they can either recommend someone to help out, or you should make sure to handle it yourself. Communication with Pat is very fast and very clear. He will explain the details of the job to you very carefully, and will also provide careful records of invoices and payments. They are also very accommodating of various needs like access to the house, neighborhood requirements, etc."

"My chimney looks brand new again.  I initially called Bob Cowan on a Saturday morning at 7:00 am to ask him to look at my chimney to give me an estimate.  It is 26 years old and was cracked and deteriorated.  He answered my call and told me he would be out within the next couple of days to look at it. Bob came the next day (Sunday afternoon) looked at it and gave me his price. I called him later that week and offered him the job after getting four other estimates. He said that he would call me back when he got back to his office to see when we could schedule the job. He called me back as promised and gave me the start date. Weather prevented him from starting the job when scheduled but he stayed in touch with me and started after the inclement weather passed.  Bob personally did much of the work on my chimney and also had helpers.  The final coat of stucco needed to match the color of the stucco on my house which is in very nice condition but the color is faded since my house is 26 years old.  Bob matched it perfectly.  I love the outcome and final look of my chimney.  My only hope is that it won't crack and deteriorate again.  Bob assured me that it won't and he said that he stands by all of his work.  Bob seems to be a good man with a strong work ethic who is an expert in his field."

As others have mentioned he is very busy but will work as long as needed to get the job done right (our 45sq/ft job ended up being a bit more involved once old tile was removed).
