"I was having some issues with water coming into the basement through the foundation and walls during rainy weather. Not flooding, or even shop vac-able volumes, just enough to be annoying and require mopping. Dominic and his crew were here today to install an under-floor drainage system and a new sump pump. I was dreading the demo (I have a concrete floor) and the mess involved, but these guys came prepared for everything! They used dust abatement measures to protect all my basement-stored items, and they removed and hauled all the debris away when finished with the excavation. What really impressed me was the concrete restoration upon completion. I've previously had a sewer line replaced through the basement floor, and the contractor really "botched" the floor repair. His foreman running the project, Sturado was very knowledgable and closely monitored the job. It made us feel very comfortable having him there overseeing the job along with Mr. Starkey who usually came by everyday as well to check on things. Mr. Starkey's crew of six hand dug everything on the outside, which was quite complex because of the two different level basements. They properly sealed the outside cracks and removed most of the marine clay which was creating pressure on our home. His team relocated the sump pump inside our home to a better strategic area and also made another outside sump pump to collect the water around our home and carry it away. It has been about a half year past the project completion and we had not had any signs of water penetration inside our home, even with quite a bit of rainfall afterwards. We feel very confident in the work Mr. Starkey's company performed (guarantee's his work, lifetime transferable warranty). He has checked back with us after the project was completed to see how things were and has offered to come back if we had any questions or problems which is reassuring.
