"Signor DiGabriele, Bernie, and his assistant Michele arrived at our home within the hour they promised and they text us to let us know that they were not coming @ 9:30 AM. Therefore, punctuality was maintained and they entered our home with a smile. They proceeded to the second floor bathroom to replace guts in toilet so that the refill would take only 2-3 mins. Instead of 7/8 mins. We advised them to perform this job first, and they did so. Next they replaced the pipes under standup sink on second floor. They suggested steel then said plastic would last longer; so, I opted for plastic and it looks terrific and the sink no longer leaks. From third floor down to kitchen to replace all the pipes and base of sink underneath the sink was a plumbing job to be marveled at and certainly, my wife and I after they left, reviewed all three areas before they left, and we are presently totally pleased with the Bernie/Michele job, and we would definitely utilize their services again and highly recommend their total efficiency. The price was $485.00, and we have no idea whether that is a good price, but both of us being so satisfied declared the price just fine. KUDOS to both Bernie/Michele. This work was the THIRD job we obtained from Angie's list since we signed up, and to Angie, we say, thanks a million. "We've used Alexanders a handful of times since moving into our house in 2013.  They fixed a few leaks and replaced our well pump (after diagnosing the problem and letting us know we needed a new one).  They came back out to fix a pipe later that day and then return a third time to solve a sediment build up issue secondary to the well pump replacement.  They are affordable and trustworthy. <br />"

"I can't say enough nice things about Ed Harvey. He is very knowledgeable about steam heat and he may be the nicest person I have ever met, although his wife Bonnie is a close second. He always answers his phone personally. We had an issue with our steam radiators spewing water on Christmas Eve. When we called him, he answered his phone at 8pm Dec. 24, told us what to do and rang our doorbell to fix it at 8am on Christmas Day. <br /> The conversion of our burner from oil to natural gas took a long time, but he kept us informed at each step. Our chimney wasn't able to handle the exhaust, and it wasn't repairable, so he came up with a different solution which has worked wonderfully. <br /> Really, I have never enjoyed my contact with a home repair expert as much as with Mr. Harvey. My only complaint was that I had to call them two or three times to get them to send us the invoice! <br />"

"They were very punctual, professional, and thorough. They took care to keep the house and basement clean while they replaced the 27 year old units. They even took care of a small gas leak at the hot water heater. They were persistent in finding where the gas leak was and then making sure they completely fixed it. When they were done installing the new units, they explained everything they did and how to use the new items. It was easy to see that Jeff and Billy really like their jobs."

"It was a same day call & service which was really appreciated. The guy who answered the phone was great, however the guy who came to do the job was not very professional. Warned him we had put chemicals in the pipe earlier to see if that would unclog it before he started working. He opened the pipe in our garage ceiling without laying a drop and got the chemicals right on him and the floor (he did not have any eye protection). Other then that he was very friendly and did a good job with replacing and clearing the pipe. Also gave my husband some tips for future clogs. It was however pricey for 2 hours worth of work over $1,000."
