"They showed up to replace a shut off waste valve to my outside faucet. I supplied the valve. At first they gave me a quote that I thought was extremely high. I left to decide and came back and said forget it, Iâ m not going to do it. Then they came back and said ok, Iâ ll drop the price by $100 if you do it. This was still a high price, but being that they were here and would do it right away (rather than having to wait for a more reasonable plumber) I said ok."
