"I had an absolutely amazing experience with Trident Bath and Shower! They came in and completely transformed my old, unappealing shower into a beautiful, modern walk-in shower that I can’t stop admiring. The entire process was straightforward, quick, and easy — from the very first consultation to the final installation, everything went smoothly. The design consultant was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helped me choose the perfect style for my space. The installers were punctual, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their work. "Excellent job. Done in one day even after removing existing tub and shower. New wall surround and decking around tub installed. Very professional, meticulous in their work, and cleaned up the area very well when finished. I highly recommend Five Star Bath and will no doubt use them in a future remodel."

"We initially were in contact with Mad City to replace our tub and shower surround but decided to hold off on that. We ended up working with Mad City to replace our front bay window, sliding patio door and a kitchen in the window and they were great. The quoting process was very easy and they worked with us on what we could afford to have done at this time. The delivery was as expected as far as timeframe. The installation exceeded our expectations! The install crew was very quick and respectful to our home and cleaned up everything before they left. There were two latches missing during delivery/install but they were in stock the following week and they sent a guy out to install. We would recommend at least talking with Mad City about your window or bath needs."

"I went in to the showroom and spoke with Kevin about what I was looking for. He very thoroughly explained the various options in shower doors that they could provide. Based on my rough measurements, Kevin quoted me a price range ($100 between low and high end). I scheduled a field measurement, which occured several days later. Doug was right on time and we talked about how
high up the shower door enclosure should go. We decided it should be 6 inches higher than originally estimated due to the height of the shower head. The final price came right in the middle of the original estimate, even with the additional height.  (I used an Angie's List discount which they were running.) The opening is wide (50 inches), so we went with a 26 inch shower door and a 24 inch solid stationary glass structure.
The install was scheduled for two weeks out (could have been a day earlier but that didn't work with my schedule). The installers showed up right on time and did a great job installing it! No problems at all; the whole experience went very smoothly.
I had gotten one other quote, which was basically in the same ballpark, but that company was not able to provide the door as quickly.

"Brian showed up to add tile on to a job he did previously two years earlier.   Adding new doors in our home created gaps in the original floor installation.  Fortunately Brian suggested we keep some tiles aside from the first work he did.   Originally he did two entry ways, a laundry room floor and a full bathroom enclosure with a few different types of tile and custom work to incorporate a stone wall into the shower enclosure. That work turned out perfectly - every cut was mitred, every grout gap was consistent and we were very pleased with the result.  Even a couple of years later the work has stood up to all the floor traffic, showers and daily use without a problem.
For the remodeling work, Brian showed up 8:00 AM on the dot cleared the space for the new tile, made the cuts in the replacement tiles and finished the job in about two hours.  Brian also cleans up after the work which isn't as common.
Brian is pretty generous with his time and his experience; while he was out today we consulted him for the next bathroom renovation and discussed some options we were considering to get his opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of those choices and he was happy to share some ideas of cost and time to help us budget.   Best of all he's actually fun to have around as he is quite personable.  My family and I have enjoyed having him come back and whenever you have someone in your home it is nice to be comfortable during the experience. So aside from the quality of the work he's performed and the competitive pricing, he's punctual and a really nice guy with a good sense of humor who wants his customers to be happy with the results.
We will definitely use him again.

"It went very well. I have used Cady several times and they always do good work at reasonable rates. Their time estimates are pretty good, and their person doing the job typically works pretty hard to keep to their estimated timing for each job. They did a very nice job on this trip installing a new exterior door, and some new siding that needed replacement on the building. I own a few rental properties in the area, and they have done nice work on several of the properties I own."

"Millerized construction remodeled my bathroom and their work is beautiful. They put in stone floors and marble inlays for decorative shelving built in the shower. He was able to do new lighting and a recessed mirror with a medicine cabinet. They really focus on the small details to make everything look flawless. Highly recommend them and will definitely hire them ags8n for future projects."

FAQs for bathtub liner or shower surround installation and replacement projects in Saint-paul, MN

A bathtub liner is a custom, one-piece shell that slips over your existing tub to hide cracks, stains, and chips. Most are molded from tough acrylic or PVC and can include a matching wall surround for a complete facelift. When a pro bonds the liner in place, you get a watertight seal, a fresh look, and an added layer of safety—all without tearing out the old tub.

After a tech measures your tub and orders a made-to-fit shell, installation takes a day. The installer cleans the surface, applies industrial-grade adhesive, and positions the liner in place. They trim the edges, tighten the drain, and run a smooth bead of silicone caulk to lock out moisture. A quick plumbing check wraps things up, leaving you with a ready-to-use tub by the next morning.

You can pick preset sizes or order a liner molded to your tub’s exact shape, then choose from dozens of colors, patterns, and finishes to match—or refresh—your bathroom. A pro trims and fits the shell on-site, so every contour lines up and accessories like grab bars or shelving land exactly where you want them.

If the liner’s material accepts a fresh coating, a professional can sand it, apply epoxy, and restore the shine in six hours for $480. Swapping in a brand-new liner runs $800 to $1,000 and takes a day or less. Refinishing is the wallet-friendly route when the shell is structurally sound, but it won’t last as long as starting over with new acrylic.

Most liners last three to five years. High-quality acrylic, a snug professional fit, and routine cleaning help you reach the upper end of that range. If moisture seeps behind the shell, mold and odors can shorten its life, so keep an eye out for loose caulk or soft spots and call a professional if you spot trouble early.
