"Harmond was very knowledgeable and understood this model. He looked at the situation and found that a service bulletin was issued for this model, which three previous repair in-person repair technicians had not told me about. He diagnosed the problem as requiring a new kit to replace the main PCB control board and the display board. He gave me the OEM part number. I highly recommend Neli Virtual Appliance Repair, my first virtual repair experience. Cost $35. I would do it again. Took 15-20 minutes to install app and pay at start of appt."

"Got to our request within a day. Brett, Robert and the crew did an outstanding job. They identified several issues that existed with the old install and went above and beyond identifying an issue with the cooktop vent-a-hood that needed to be addressed by the builder. Wish we had hired them for the initial appliance install. Will definitely use them for any future needs."

"After my brief explanation of the problem, Jose said he was fairly sure that the problem was with a safety switch. And it was. He demonstrated that the oven would not trip the breaker when the switch was disabled. He did not have the exact part and installed a similar to see if it would work. It didn't so he ordered the switch plus two other low-cost switches which he expected would fail in the near future. He hoped they would be delivered so he could have the oven operational before Thanksgiving. The next day I had a voice mail from the office indicating the switches had arrived. I didn't listen to the voice mail until 7:00pm and planned on calling first thing next morning. Shortly after 8:30pm, the office manager called again to see if she could schedule installation of the switches. We scheduled for the next day. Jose came, installed switches, and everything worked. When he replaced one of the other two switches, he found that one had failed earlier which assures the microwave will not function with the door open. Since we had never attempted such an operation, we did not know it had failed. Jose's thoroughness eliminated a potential hazard and a future service call. We are elated to know that First Priority exists and lives up to its name. They responded quickly, thoughtfully, and we felt that they believed and acted as if we are their first priority. Costs were below my expectations and more than competitive with others who provided similar labor intensive repairs (plumbing, electrical, etc)."

"This company is not in my local area, despite what Angie's List shows. Their location is more than 300 miles from me. I reported the possible error to Angie's List, they responeded that the company can use whatever geographic location and service they want. But for some reason I need to rate A Plus Appliance Repair Service.
They want me to rate this company even though I did not use them.
Instead of asking me for a review for services I did not use, they should revise their program with options for services not used. Also, add a spell check to these reports so misspelled words don't devalue the report.
Hopefully, this will complete the necessary report. I apologize to A Plus Appliance Repair Service for this bogus report and comments.

"We had a wonderful experience, as usual with Jon Wayne’s service. Several days ago a technician, Chris, came out and diagnosed a problem and had to order a part and just returned and replaced the inoperable part. Chris made an adjustment initially so we could still us our water heater until the new part was installed. We have been using Jon Wayne for 10 years and never been displeased with their service."

"Went smoothly. Arrived at appointed time, Changed out the motor with minimum complications. I was bit hesitant when they wanted me to pay up front for the replacement motor they were ordering, but they agreed to a 50% down payment and we proceeded from there. Claudia in their office was pleasant and accommodating. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient.

"The dealer recommended that I contact Mr. Appliance to repair the oven. Over the course of a month I made numerous phone calls, they came out to the house twice and the part was not ordered when it should have been ordered. The first visit was cancelled by them with no notice and rescheduled after I took off of work to meet them. After waiting three weeks, Mr. Appliance apologized for the mistake on not ordering my part and got it ordered. I was charged for two service calls and they never did fix the oven or identify the issue. The part that was ordered was not needed and was returned."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in San Antonio, TX

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
