"It went very well. Came to assess the leak within a shirt period of time. The repair was a bit extensive but they had it done the next day."

"They are a professional group of people, from scheduling to <br /> completion of work. <br /> I contacted Henry the manager?he is extremely helpful.  Henry worked around my <br /> schedule to get the job done. I appreciate his assistance. Last <br /> year I had the entire water pipes (coming into the house done). This year I had <br /> the entire drains done. <br /> Hector?the plumber is awesome!!!He creates a plan to get the <br /> job done. He is very creative and is very helpful, and works around the house?s <br /> plumbing issues. Hector is a does a quality job. He replaced the entire drains <br /> of the house. He converted drains from old cast iron to PVC. He had to spend a <br /> great deal of time under the house?s crawl space. <br /> He also placed a new bathroom sink and vanity, which he had <br /> to return to do, since it was ordered it online. Hector was assisted by Carlos <br /> in completing the plumbing work. <br /> In conclusion, Jeff?s Westside Plumbing is an excellent <br /> plumbing company. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone who <br /> needs a good job done correctly the first time. <br /> <br />"

"We have used them more than once. The first time, they realigned my garbage disposal. I used them through my home warranty. I have been using them for several years. The same person comes. I always get same day, if not second day service. He will come and tell me what needs to be done. I can call if I have any questions. I have never had any problems with them. They are great."

"1. The first tech diagnosed both pool pumps failed because our neighborhood flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Landmark contract does not cover flood. I appealed the denial. However the flood water was actually below the pump bearings. Needed a second opinion resulting in replacement of both pumps. The second technician did an excellent job of installing the pumps and checking my entire system. 2. The A/C service company replaced the fan motor on our 5 ton condenser. During their visit, they found leaks in the air plenum and retaped those. They unplugged the primary drain lines in two of our A/C units, both at the plenum outlet, and down the drain line to the house plumbing system. The tech did an excellent job and was good about asking all my questions. 3 weeks later the drain lines are blocked again. I fear the source of the problem has not been eliminated by simply cleaning the drain lines. Unfortunately in shaking the 1/2" PVC drain line, it separated 10 ft away at an elbow. Water soaked the insulation, spilled onto the second floor ceiling below, and down to the first floor ceiling before we noticed it. We filed a complaint and are waiting. The contractor said they did not have Liability Insurance yet Landmark requires they do. The resolution is still being worked at this time. Landmark gets high marks for holding our hand thru the entire process."

FAQs for gas piping projects in San Elizario, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
